Chapter 4: Sasuke Sees the Most Powerful Pupil Technique Inventory
Sasuke left the Hokage's office in a daze.
Go to your place?
How was that supposed to help him get stronger?
He couldn't make sense of it at all.
Still, he had nothing better to do. Since the acting Hokage had said so, he might as well check it out.
With that thought, Sasuke made his way toward the apartment Su Li had mentioned.
It didn't take long for him to arrive at Su Li's new home.
He stood before the door, doubts swirling in his mind, then unlocked it with the key.
"Could that guy be lying to me…?" he muttered under his breath.
Inside, the apartment was simple almost too simple.A few pieces of plain furniture, a small table, and several large bookshelves lined the walls.
On those shelves… were stacks upon stacks of comic books.
Sasuke blinked, speechless.
"Is that acting Hokage kidding me?" he growled, irritation flashing in his eyes.
He had actually come expecting something meaningful perhaps a scroll, a secret jutsu, or even a sparring challenge.Instead… this?
His face darkened.
"Forget it. I'll go to Orochimaru."
He had already made up his mind.
But just as he turned to leave, something caught his eye a thick, dark covered comic resting on one of the shelves.
"The Inventory of the Strongest Pupil Techniques."
Sasuke froze mid step.
"The strongest pupil techniques?" he murmured, frowning.
He wasn't particularly interested. After all, in his mind, the greatest pupil technique in the world was obvious the Sharingan.
There was no contest.
But this comic was quite thick, with several volumes bound together.
"Are there really that many pupil techniques? Other than the Sharingan and Byakugan?" he wondered aloud.
From what Sasuke knew, there were only those two. Even the Mangekyō Sharingan was just an advanced form of Sharingan.
Still… curiosity got the better of him.
He turned back and reached for the comic.
At the bottom of the cover, in small print, were the words:[Author: Su Li]
"So, he drew this himself, huh?" Sasuke snorted softly, disdain in his tone.
Anyone who wasted time drawing comics obviously couldn't be that strong.
But as he flipped open the first page, his expression quickly shifted.
[Mystic Eyes of Death Perception (Owner: Shiki Ryougi)]"All things arise from the Root. If there is birth, there must be an end.The end of a thing is predetermined from its very beginning we call that end 'death.'Those who can perceive the death of all things can bring that 'end' into the present.Such eyes are called the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception."
The page included vivid illustrations a girl with dual colored eyes slashing through reality itself, lines of death crisscrossing every object she touched.
Sasuke's eyes widened as he flipped through the panels.
These eyes didn't just see death they could manifest it.
An ultimate ability that could end anything, no matter how strong or indestructible.
"This… what…?"
His heart pounded violently.
Even the Mangekyō Sharingan couldn't compare to this.
Could such an eye really exist?
No. Impossible.
It had to be fiction. Just something Su Li made up for his comic.
Yet… it felt so real.
Despite trying to convince himself otherwise, Sasuke found his fingers turning to the next page on their own.
[Six Paths Rinnegan (Owner: Six Paths Sage)]"Within these crimson eyes lies the power of reincarnation itself, and six divine paths that govern life and death."
Hell Path: Traps the target in an endless nightmare, crushing their psyche.Preta Path: Absorbs all forms of energy.Animal Path: Summons beasts of death to fight.Asura Path: Unleashes immense destructive energy to enhance combat power.Deva Path: Controls gravity and manipulates others' consciousness.Human Path: Extracts souls and reads thoughts — the most dangerous of all.
Sasuke's throat went dry.
"Another… pupil technique that surpasses the Sharingan?"
His worldview was shaking.
He wanted to dismiss it all as nonsense fantasy but the detailed explanations and combat scenes were drawn with such precision, such authenticity, that it was impossible not to believe.
But if these were real, then why had no one in the ninja world ever heard of them?
Minutes passed.Then hours.
Sasuke was completely absorbed.
He flipped through page after page, his eyes reflecting scenes of unimaginable power.
The Geass, which could dominate a person's mind and command absolute obedience. The Replica Eye, which could instantly analyze and copy the composition and nature of any technique, even magic. The Laser Eyes, capable of unleashing devastating rays of energy.
Every page revealed a new level of impossible power.
Even the Sharingan and Byakugan were listed alongside their ultimate evolutions, Mangekyō Sharingan → Rinnegan, and Byakugan → Tenseigan.
Sasuke's blood surged as he read.
If I had these eyes… if I could master even one of them… killing that man would be nothing.
He didn't even realize how quickly he was turning the pages.
Finally, he reached the last chapter.
On the final page was a vast, ornate clock its face divided into twelve glowing symbols.
Beneath it was a single line of text:
[Emperor Keke (The Time Emperor): One of the strongest pupil techniques, capable of controlling the flow of time through twelve distinct powers.]
The moment his eyes landed on the words, an overwhelming force burst within him a strange, burning energy surging toward his left eye.
"Aaah!"
Agony ripped through his body. He collapsed, clutching his face, his entire being consumed by pain as if his very blood were boiling.
After what felt like an eternity, the pain finally subsided.
Sasuke lay drenched in sweat, panting heavily.
"Hah… hah…"
He staggered to his feet and stumbled toward the bathroom mirror.
What he saw made his breath catch.
Reflected in the mirror was his face but his left eye now glowed with a brilliant, golden hue, the faint outline of a twelve marked clock spinning within the iris.
"This is…" Sasuke's voice trembled.
"…the Emperor Keke?!"
His eyes widened in disbelief.
The impossible… had just become real.
