"Hey, Jeanne. Before we go to the guild, how about we grab a bite to eat?"
On the way to the Adventurers' Guild, I made that suggestion to Jeanne. After having sex twice this morning, I'm honestly hungry.
"Sure. It's a bit early, but let's go to my favorite restaurant. It's empty right now, so it might be better that way."
Jeanne agreed, and she led us to the restaurant. After walking down the main street for a while, we arrived at a building with a sign that read "Kahn Restaurant."
"Welcome!"
When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by an incredibly cute girl with shoulder-length brown hair and blue eyes. Her charming face and innocent appearance, with freckles on her cheeks, greatly enhanced her appeal.
"Hey, Anna! You're always so cute!"
The girl's name was Anna. Jeanne's face was beaming as she talked to Anna. It seemed that Jeanne was flirting with various girls.
"Let me introduce you. This is my friend, Yuri."
"My name is Yuri. Nice to meet you!"
"Um, nice to meet you too!"
With her freckles and charming face, Anna smiled brightly. This is dangerous. Her charm is so powerful that even I might start smiling like a fool.
"What would you like to order?"
Anna asked for our orders.
"I'll have today's lunch set. What about you, Yuri?"
"I'll have today's lunch set too."
Since I don't know what's on the menu, I'll just order the same thing as Jeanne. It's a daily changing lunch set.
Today's menu was chicken steak and bread. It's incredibly delicious. Five copper coins is a bargain. I'll come here often.
While having lunch, I asked Jeanne about Anna-chan. Actually, Jeanne just started talking on her own. Anna-chan is the same age as me, **, and apparently just became an adult this year. In the Istrian Kingdom where the First City is located, children become adults at **.
Anna-chan and her childhood friend Tom-kun are apparently getting along well lately. From what I could tell, they looked good together, and Jeanne told me with a hint of jealousy that it wouldn't be long before they started dating.
"By the way, what kind of weapon does Yuri use? A sword? Or is he a mage?"
Jeanne asked me during our conversation. I hadn't decided what I would use to fight as an adventurer. I guess I'll go with a sword for now.
"I use a sword. But I don't have one."
"Then before we go to the adventurer's guild, shall I take you to my regular workshop? I can even cover the cost if you like?"
Jeanne asks me with a smirk. If I borrow money from her here, the tables will turn. It might be an option if I'm aiming for the M-male route, but I'll pass this time.
Besides, I absolutely don't want to borrow money from a woman. It'd be awkward during sex.
"I have some cash on me, so it's fine. Will you show me the way?"
"Alright. Let's go after lunch."
After finishing our meal, we said goodbye to Anna-chan and headed toward the workshop.
