The next day, Lili woke up hours after her alarm. She looked at the time and saw that it was almost 11AM and was so startled she rolled out of bed and hit the floor with a thud.
Lili groaned, cracking her neck and heading to the shower. On her way out she picked a slice of bread and some milk, sliding her bag across her shoulders.
She was already late for the bus so she took a taxi and snuck into her first class when lecture was halfway through.
The morning sun slanted through the classroom windows as she looked straight at the podium.
She had to admit that she wasn't really paying attention much.
Lili chided herself and made the resolution to revive more when she got home.
When the class was over, she started picking up her study materials from the desk when she felt probing eyes on her and faint murmurs.
"Is that her?"
"I didn't peg her as that type"
"She looks so innocent too"
