Chapter 7 - What the?! My Grandson Awakened Conqueror’s Haki at Three Years Old?!

Mt. Colubo.

It was late at night.

A thin crescent moon hung in the sky, its pale glow spilling softly over the mountains.

In the depths of the forest, the roars of beasts echoed.

The howl of tigers, the cries of wolves,

the endless chorus of insects.

Half an hour later, Garp arrived at Mt. Colubo with Bogard.

Knock, knock, knock!

He raised his hand and rapped on the door, the sound crisp and clear in the quiet night.

Standing at the entrance, Garp's brows remained furrowed.

He couldn't understand why Dadan had called for him in such panic.

Creak!

The door opened from within.

Golden firelight spilled out, illuminating Dadan's face—still pale with lingering fear. A cigarette dangled from her lips, gray smoke curling upward.

"What happened? What's going on?"

Seeing her expression, Garp immediately pressed her.

"Come inside and see for yourself."

"Your grandson's handiwork…"

Dadan trailed off, unable to finish.

She stepped aside, letting Garp enter.

Following her into the hall—

Garp's eyes immediately landed on the chaotic scene inside.

Over a dozen members of the Dadan Family were sprawled across the floor, all unconscious.

Shattered plates littered the ground, food splattered everywhere.

The place was a complete mess.

The atmosphere was eerily silent.

Oppressively quiet.

Not a sound.

"What?!"

"This… this is—"

Seeing the devastation, Garp's pupils shrank, his expression shifting.

Bogard, following behind him, also took in the wreckage, his face changing dramatically.

Both of them seemed to have the same thought…

but the guess was so shocking that neither could accept it immediately.

"Do you see it now?"

Dadan broke the silence, watching Garp's stunned face.

"What happened?"

Garp asked grimly.

"Can't you tell?"

Dadan raised a brow.

"Of course I can tell."

"But…"

"Are you saying…"

"That all of this… was caused by my grandson?"

Garp drew in a deep breath, trying to steady himself.

Looking closer,

his suspicions only grew firmer.

He knew exactly what had laid these bandits low—

every one of them unconscious,

eyes rolled white,

foam at their mouths.

There was no mistaking it.

As a Navy Hero, one of the strongest men upon the seas,

Garp had encountered this kind of power many times before.

He had seen it.

He had felt it.

Back when he was hunting down infamous pirates,

he had crossed paths with more than a few who wielded this terrifying force.

And the strongest of them—

two pirates in particular—

had mastered it to perfection.

"It's just as you think, Garp."

"This was all your grandson's doing."

Dadan finally revealed the truth.

"Ace?"

Garp asked quickly.

After all, Ace was the son of one of those very pirates—Gol D. Roger, the Pirate King himself.

If Ace had inherited that potential, Garp could accept it.

But Dadan shook her head.

"No. You're wrong."

"It wasn't Ace."

"It was your real grandson…"

"Kai!"

"Even Ace, who was on his way to deliver food to him, was instantly knocked unconscious by the boy's aura."

"This—!"

Garp involuntarily sucked in a cold breath.

He had always known Kai's talent was monstrous.

Otherwise, how could a child of three overpower Ace—the son of Roger—with a single hand?

But he never imagined…

His grandson's potential was terrifying!

"Conqueror's Haki?!"

Garp's eyes snapped toward Dadan.

"You already know the answer."

"What else could it be?"

"Other than the Conqueror's Haki, what three-year-old child could instantly knock out every living being within a hundred meters?"

Dadan exhaled heavily, her expression complicated.

"But… he's only three!"

Garp's heart was shaken to the core.

A three-year-old awakening Conqueror's Haki—

What kind of concept was that?

Even with all his experience, Garp could hardly believe it.

The thought alone was enough to shake the seas.

"Yes…"

"Just three years old."

"Already awakened to a power said to appear only once in a million people—a king's potential."

"Should I say it?"

Dadan looked at him, her tone half in awe, half in disbelief.

"Is your whole family made of monsters? You, your son Dragon… and now even your grandson—a mere three-year-old brat—already shows such terrifying potential."

Garp was speechless.

He couldn't deny it.

Three years old, and awakening Conqueror's Haki…

Such a thing overturned everything he knew!

Even he, Garp the Hero, was left reeling by the sight.

"To put it simply…"

"My grandson, Kai, awakened Conqueror's Haki at just three years old."

"Doesn't that make him the youngest in history? The very first to ever do it?"

"And it was a natural awakening!"

"No external trigger, no life-or-death struggle…"

Garp sighed deeply, overwhelmed.

He could only mutter—

That boy was truly a monster.

At his side,

Bogard gazed at the wreckage, shock heavy in his eyes.

"As expected of Vice Admiral Garp's grandson…"

"Awakening Conqueror's Haki at just three years old."

"Such terrifying talent…"

"Truly unmatched across the ages!"
