Chapter 6: My Sister Is Living With What?

The young man held the girl's hand firmly, his eyes furious.

Pilea glanced at him quietly, speechless. She didn't recognize him at all—in fact, she didn't know him.

The girl he stopped from hitting Pilea removed her hand from his grip and left angrily, shooting Pilea a glare before she walked away.

Pilea got up and dusted her clothes. Her eyes then fell on the young gentleman before her. He was quite handsome, with blonde hair and brown eyes. Though he couldn't be compared to Androsen's beauty, he seemed like his total opposite, carrying an angelic aura rather than a dark one.

Pilea muttered softly, "Thank you." Surprised and wondering why a total stranger would help her after the incident.

Breaking the silence, he introduced himself. "I'm Pristin. I was so relieved when I found out earlier this morning that you were still alive."

Pilea smiled gently. "Thank you so much… Pristin."

Her eyes caught the badge on his chest: President of the Student Council. Her eyes widened in disbelief. She knew the assistant president, but not the president—he wasn't usually roaming around.

She quickly greeted, "I'm sorry, President. I didn't know it was you."

He let out a cool, relaxing chuckle that could make any girl easily fall in love. "It's nothing. I heard everything that happened yesterday. Don't worry, I'll make sure nothing bad happens to anyone under my watch. I won't let it happen twice."

Pilea smiled gently. "Thanks for helping me, but I won't trouble you anymore." She gave him a slight bow.

He was about to say something more, but Pilea quickly walked away as fast as she could.

Meanwhile, Androsen sat in his chair in his office, his eyes cold as ice. The person sitting across from him had the same cold expression.

"So, I heard you have a human living with you now."

Androsen nodded slightly.

The man smiled gently—a smile that could send chills down someone's spine—but the person sitting across from him looked unbothered, though his glare was sharp.

His eyes were as dark as the night sky, his black hair thick and shiny.

He walked closer to Androsen. "I hope it's not because of her. Bibiane."

Androsen's expression hardened, his gaze sharp enough to instill fear. His eyes locked with the man's.

The man chuckled lightly, feeling goosebumps rise. He sighed gently. "I'm just telling you what I think. You know I'm your father. I love you, my dear son."

He stretched out his hand and gently touched Androsen's hair.

The gaze Androsen gave him made him quickly remove his hand.

"Don't ever mention that name in front of me. Ever." Androsen said angrily.

The man laughed as he walked out of the office, about to close the door.

He turned to Androsen one last time. He was handsome but looked much older than Androsen.

"I hope this is just a phase. Don't take it too far and end up like before. I won't hesitate to destroy anyone who tries to make you miserable."

His expression grew serious as their eyes locked for a moment.

Then he let out a chuckle. "Take care, son. You know where to find me."

He left, closing the door firmly behind him.

Androsen sighed and returned to his work.

It was already late in the evening.

Pilea sighed as she recalled Androsen's words.

She walked down the stairs, feeling the weight of everyone's gaze on her. But she didn't care. What worried her most was how her brother was doing.

Outside the gate, the car they had used this morning was waiting.

The driver stood by the door. Noticing her, he gave a slight nod.

"Mrs. Master, Androsen said he has something to do, so only you will get home first."

Pilea smiled gently and nodded. "Okay."

"I wonder what he's doing." Pilea thought, confused. "What am I thinking?" She sighed angrily.

The driver opened the car door for her. She got in, and the car drove off.

Meanwhile, a young boy of about seventeen walked out of a nearby house. His expression was calm but worried.

He walked down the road without asking anyone anything. "Where is my sister? She usually comes on Friday evening."

He sighed, frustration clear on his face as he held his chest, trying to catch his breath.

"If not for my heart issues, she wouldn't be going to that cursed school."

Two women approached him.

"Sam, I haven't seen your sister for a while," said one with dark brown hair, her false worried expression obvious.

Sam smiled and nodded. "She's on her way, I'm sure."

"Hmm. On her way, huh? If you say so."

The other woman, with blue hair, smiled at him as they walked away.

"I pity him and his sister, losing their parents at a young age," they whispered, unaware that Sam overheard.

Sam sighed and walked toward a dark alley leading to an abandoned house. He glanced at the burnt, destroyed remains.

"I wish they never died… or that I died with them. Then my sister wouldn't be suffering like this, risking her life for a fake scholarship."

"Pilea, where are you? How are you doing?" He sighed, frustration heavy in his voice.

Someone approached him, their face hidden beneath a black robe.

"You're Pilea's brother, right?"

Sam tried to see their face, but it was hidden.

"If you can't answer, that means you're not interested in your sister. Whereabouts?" the person asked before turning to leave.

Sam yelled after them, worry clear in his voice. "Yes, I'm her brother! What happened to her?"

The figure answered without turning back, "I heard a high-ranked vampire took her in. She's now living with him."

"My sister is living with what?" Sam said, anger rising.
