Chapter 35 - chapter 35_daisy

He looked at her like the thought alone was breaking him.

"I don't like you being friends with him," he said, voice low and rough.

Daisy's shock faded, replaced by anger of her own. She straightened her spine.

"You don't get to choose who I'm friends with," she fired back. "I'm friends with who I want."

Leo stared at her, chest rising and falling, the room suddenly heavy with the clash of both their emotions.

"Daisy…" he said her name like a warning.

But she didn't back down this time. don't make me get mad? You won't like the outcome," he warned.

she had had enough of their heated arguments. "Do your worst," she challenged him defiantly before retreating to the bathroom. As the warm water cascaded over her, she let the stress of their fight wash away. When she emerged, Leo was nowhere to be found. "If he likes it that way, let him stay gone," she thought, feeling a sense of liberation. With that, she crawled into bed and drifted off to sleep. Meanwhile, Leo had gone out to clear his head. When he returned home, he found Daisy peacefully asleep, and a surge of frustration bubbled within him. "She really doesn't care if I don't come back," he seethed silently. The anger clouded his judgment as he approached her sleeping form. He climbed into bed, feeling a mix of resentment and desire. In that moment, he made a reckless choice, fueled by his emotions, as he moved closer to her, the tension between them thickening in the air. The night was far from over, and the unresolved feelings would soon come to a head.

Daisy's peaceful sleep was abruptly interrupted as Leo's frustration boiled over. Despite her pleas for rest, he was consumed by anger and resentment. He couldn't understand why she seemed indifferent to his presence, and it drove him to a breaking point. "No matter how much she begged, he refused to listen," he thought, feeling a mix of anger and desperation. "She has to understand how serious this is."
