"Whoa, this was cool as hell!"
The floating Ty Lee barely above Norrak's head looked down at the abrren land, now just a massive crater worn into the ground from Norrak's Hollow Purple.
"This unstoppable power... I swear on my soul that I will one day reach this level of power, no matter how long it takes!" Azula, on the other hand, was not just amazed, but also grinning as she looked at the crater like a snack.
"Norrak, won't killing the corrupted spirits debalance the physical world? Especially wiht Vaatu on the verge of being free," Katara's worried voice attracted everyone's attention, worry suddenly taking root.
Norrka, on the other hand, was not worried an inch.
"Nah, I'm not really worried about it. The spirit realms are massive; a few thousand spirits dying will not cause imbalance," Norrak spoke with a shrug of his shoulders, reaching out and taking Ty Lee back into his arms.
"We should get going, I can see the Tree of Time already. We didn't even need the map leading to it," Norrak chuckled as he shot forward like a jet, Azula and Katara following him.
Swoosh!
"Ugh! Katara, the wind!" Mai's choked voice brought Katara to look down, to see Mai's cheeks flapping in the wind. She held back a laugh before splitting the air, allowing them to glide without friction.
Inside the Tree of Time...
"No..."
Bang!
"No."
Bang!
"Nooooo! How did that girl get here so fast? And that powerful human as well... Raava, you dishonourable women! Our duel was supposed to be against each other, without interference!" Vaatu trembled in anger as he watched the cracked barrier.
He only needed a few minutes to break out of it.
But time was not on his side.
Boom!
Norrak smashed into the ground a few meters from the Tree of Time, a smirk on his face. Azula and Katara followed after him with caution, watching Vaatu through the red see-through barrier.
Mai and Ty Lee were left in a small clearing a dozen kilometres from the place.
Being near the fight was too dangerous for them.
"Vessel of Raava... Have you come to fight me? Or have you come to dishonour me by joining forces wiht that boy and women?" Vaatu spoke, his voice dark and vibrating.
Katara narrowed her eyes as she stepped forward, facing Vaatu without an inch of fear or hesitation. She placed her palm on the barrier, and a white light erupted.
Crack!
The barrier opened, and a red beam of light rushed out straight into the sky, before growing and taking the form of a dark red stingray with black markings.
"Hmm... So you still plan to honour our duel, do you? I see, then come, let our battle to decide the fate of the world for the next 10,000 years commence!"
Katara clenched her soft hands before a confident light erupted from her eyes. With a soft hum, her body was outlined in white, and her eyes lit up wiht a fierce light.
Boom!
Katara flew towards Vaatu.
Her speed was faster than lightning as she used every technique she could think of to boost her physical abilities.
Using Norrak's way of Chi enhancement, then adding her air trait to her Chi, and then using fire to grow jets of flames behind her, Katara reached a speed like never before.
HMMMMM!
A vibrating and humming sound erupted from Katara's palm, a ball of spinning wind and pure Chi energy. Vaatu watched, his diamond-shaped head pointing forward as a ball of spiritual energy shot out from him.
"Rasengan!"
Boom!
The Rasengan met the wide beam head-on, piercing through it as the ball grinded away at it, while energy moved past Katara. Vaatu watched without a hint of worry as Katara got closer.
"What is this..." Vaatu questioned faintly as he watched Katara, increasing the output of energy, and causing Katara to grow as she was blasted back like a rocket.
"Your strength..." Vaatu continued.
"It's not enough to make me even sweat," Vaatu confirmed his thoughts as he flew forward, hovering over the indented Katara, who coughed out blood and saliva inside the massive crater on the ground.
It was a one-sided crushing for Katara.
"Tch! Is she really losing to that weak attack?" Azula questioned with a sneer, her eyes narrowing, though her tone was not confident. Norrak stayed silent, watching as the fight continued.
Boom!
Katara jumped up with a groan and rushed towards Vaatu in a zig-zag pattern, her palm open as she fired blasts of air blades and her other hand firing beams of intense fire.
The explosion that rocked the place spread out, Vaatu's body shrouded wiht wind blades and intense beams. He shrugged it off, firing beams of energy towards Katara, who barely managed to move around them.
"Since that's not enough! Take this!"
Katara pushed her hands together, firing a massive beam of wind and fire that fused together to create a massive fire tornado around Vaatu's form. Vaatu grunted in pain as he felt a surge of pain.
The ground for hundreds of meters melted into liquid sludge, caught by the wind and swept into the air and into the flaming tornado. Katara looked up with a tiny smirk, noticing the heat wave going into the dark clouds.
Boom!
A massive wave of air exploded outwards, water condensing from the air before shooting into the dark clouds.
Katara clenched her hands, causing the massive amount of water to explode into tiny droplets that covered a large area of about 3 kilometres in the sky.
"What is she doing- wait! Is she doing the lightning thing?" Azula was confused, before a memory of Norrak creating lightning appeared in her mind.
"Seems her skill improved considerably," Norrak muttered with a smile.
Back to the fight, Katara continued shooting blasts of wind, fire and Ice towards Vaatu, who was inside the fire tornado. Her attacks did very little to Vaatu, but they kept him busy and distracted.
Time passed slowly for Norrak and Azula, but fast for Katara, and soon a few minutes passed as the fighting became even more intense, with Vaatu becoming irritated.
"Enough of this playing around! I came for an opponent, and what I received was an embarrassment!" Vaatu let out a scream, shooting a massive bus-wide dark energy beam towards Katara, splitting the fire tornado and the ground.
Katara's eyes widened as she watched the beam, barely managing to dodge. The massive beam flashed past her, hitting a distant area with a world-ending explosion sound.
Boom!
Katara looked back for a split second, watching as a mountain vanished in the attack. It continued, carving a massive trench for a dozen kilometres more.
Katara took in a gasp of relief at having dodged the attack before turning back around, her eyes locked onto the storm clouds, with blue lightning bolts swimming inside them.
"It's ready~," Katara muttered to herself with an excited tone. On the other end, Vaatu spun around, dispersing the fire tornado, his figure trembling in humiliation and anger.
"You mere human! I will erase you for wasting my time!"
