For the next three months Robinah had been busy with her research and helping some of the students with their questions. Alex would always make her food. She had noticed he kept asking if she knew an important date that was coming soon. After asking Jason , he confirmed his birthday was coming soon but he never celebrates.
Grace had called to let her know she had received her graduation certificate already. She invited her to their home to celebrate. Grace had been visiting her once in a while. She informed Alex who said he would meet her there. The celebration was simple. Robinah brought her a painting of her and Jason which Grace loved. Alex gave her a promotion and a raise while Jason gave her a car. Grace was so happy throughout the celebration.
After the celebration, Alex left for the company while Robinah had to go shopping for some materials. She bought everything she needed and paid before leaving her address for delivery. She was busy texting Alex when she bumped into someone.
" Am so sorry."
" It's okay." But on meeting each other's gaze, they were all dumbfounded but Robinah masked it quickly.
" Am so sorry I wasn't looking miss." Robinah pretended to apologize before leaving. She had just taken a few steps when Jessica reacted
" Wait."
" What?" Turning around she asked. " Don't tell me you want me to compensate you for bumping into you."
Jessica was stunned. Did she not know who she was. " Are you Robinah."
" Yes, you might have seen my photos from the competition."
" Don't you know me?"
" I don't know you miss. Have we met before?"
" Not really. It's just that... "
Robinah cut her off." Then we don't have anything to discuss. Am sorry once again goodbye."
She went home and waited for the delivery before starting with her preparations. Alex came back and noticed her low mood but he was just as moody. He had been asking her to know if she remembered his birthday but it was obvious she didn't. They quietly ate their food and went to rest.

Jessica went back home angry.
" What happened to you. You said you will be back late." Her mother was confused. She had just left an hour ago .
" I run into that bitch and she even pretended not to know me."
" Who are you talking about?" Her father had just arrived from the office.
" Am talking about Robinah. I just met her at the entrance of the Luke's shopping mall." She explained.
" Did she talk to you?" Mrs. Gray was eager to know the details. They had been looking for her to no avail.
" She bumped into me and apologized. When I asked her if she knew me, she denied it and left."
" Do you know where she went to after that?" Her father asked.
" I told my bodyguard to follow her but she disappeared near X university gate."
" Well, we now have a lead. I will look into it." Her father said. The mysterious man was getting impatient. He even threatened to withdraw his funding. They had to move fast and bring her back.

Alex's birthday was on Saturday. Robinah had been busy making preparations. On Saturday morning, Alex left before she woke up. He had been ignoring her. He had left her breakfast though. She ate her breakfast and started decorating the house. She took the cake out of the oven and made the food before thinking of how to get him to get back home.
" Is Alex so busy?" She texted Jason.
" Not really. He has just been sitting in his office." He had been waiting for this message forever.
" Okay let me put my plan in motion. Don't let him know anything."
" Okay I have got you on this one."
Alex had been in his office fuming. She actually forgot his birthday. She didn't even text him. He was thinking if he should just remind her when his phone rang with a message notification tune exclusive to her.
" Help me Alex." He could imagine her helpless expression when sending the message. She rarely asked for help. He left the office in a hurry. Jason followed him out.
" What happened boss?" Jason pretended to ask.
" Drive me home immediately. Try to reach there in fifteen minutes. Nothing can happen to her." He instructed.
" Okay boss." Jason said getting into the car.
They drove off at high speed heading to the lab. The lab was empty. Alex was loosing it. If only he had talked to her or even stayed home. If anything happened to her, he would never forgive himself. He thought as he rushed to the courtyard. Jason had disappeared at some point but he did not notice. His mind was focused on finding Robinah.
As he pushed the door open, he was stunned. The house was decorated with gray and blue balloons, the table was set while stood there in a white dress smiling.
" Are you surprised that you can't move." She teased.
" I lack the words to describe my feelings." To think that he had been ignoring her thinking she didn't remember his birthday yet she had been planning on surprising him. This was the best surprise ever.
He rushed forward and hugged her.
" Am sorry." Was all he could say.
" It's okay. I understand but do you think I will ever forget your birthday? Sit down and taste my delicacies."
He apologized again and sat down to eat. He was so happy. This was the first birthday with her and the first since his mother died. After eating, he cut the cake. She had baked his favourite strawberry flavored cake.
" It's time for your gifts." She said pulling them from under the dining table.
" Thank you." He opened the gifts. The first one was a gray suit, a blue tie and the last one was a bottle of medicine.
" Is this what am thinking of. Did you also make this suit."
" Well, you are the first person to get my creation. And yeah that is your medicine. You can now get rid of the toxins."
" Am honored. Sorry for ignoring you. Next time I will do better."
" Okay I forgive you."
They talked and played around before Alex went to fit his suit. It was the perfect size. Robinah snapped pictures of him in the suit before they retired for the day.
