Below, countless black shadows surged upward with a bone-chilling gale, shrieking as they came, as if intent on devouring the intruder alive, their wails ghastly and terrifying.

A vortex instantly appeared on the banner's surface, generating tremendous suction that dragged all the surrounding green smoke toward it.
As the smoke gathered and flew over, Luo Yu waved his hand. The smoke split into three streams, pouring into the three spiritual artifacts. Bathed in faint light, their auras strengthened slightly, as if repaired.
"All top-grade nourishment—can't waste a bit of it."
There was no trace of fear left on Luo Yu's face. Greedy light flared in his eyes. These three artifacts had long been damaged, and he had been worrying about how to restore them. The energy produced after shattering undead spirits was perfect nourishment.
In the darkness, as the shrieking spirits were subdued, even the biting cold wind weakened. Only the blood-colored walls carved with human faces silently proclaimed the hidden horrors of this place.
"Thud."
Luo Yu finally landed on solid ground. The Radiant Demon Banner, which had acted as his parachute, was draped over him like a cassock. He kept the hammer and gong firmly in hand, golden light blazing in his eyes as he surveyed his surroundings.

Retracting his awareness, the corner of his mouth tilted slightly upward. Tugging at the banner on his shoulders, he strode straight toward the winding bridge.
The bridge emitted a dim red glow, paved entirely with blood stones of unknown material. Each step produced a "crack" beneath his feet. The dark green lake below remained eerily calm.
Luo Yu shook his head. Though danger had yet to appear, he never relaxed his guard. With sinister winds all around, this place looking "harmless" was the biggest problem of all.
He continued along the winding path, unaware of how far he had gone.
Fog filled the front, while the path behind had vanished from sight. A sense of desolate loneliness welled up in his heart, as though he needed comfort. His eyes grew hazy and unfocused.
"Splash…"
The still dark green lake stirred. A pure yet alluring少女 floated up, her body draped only in a few green leaves. Her fair thighs were bare, and her ample chest was half-hidden beneath the scant foliage.
She stepped out of the lake and walked through the air with seductive grace toward Luo Yu, constantly striking alluring poses, displaying her charm, as if to soothe the man's loneliness.
Luo Yu seemed ensnared by the enchantment of this place. Without realizing it, he fell under her spell. Desire clouded his eyes as he ignored the danger and walked toward the少女.
A sweet smile curved her lips. She reached toward the leaves on her chest, slowly peeling them back. Her long legs swayed—slow in appearance, yet her approach was swift.
As the two drew close, her chest nearly fully revealed, about to offer herself completely, she noticed the man's total lack of defense. She stopped, crimson light flashing in her eyes as her form twisted grotesquely.
Her body expanded to the height of three or four stacked men. Fangs and sharp teeth erupted from her mouth. Her body turned ethereal, as though composed of countless幽魂.
"Kekeke… intruder—die!!" A massive, ferocious maw lunged toward Luo Yu's head.
"Idiot." Luo Yu's eyes snapped back to clarity.
Shock flashed through the幽魂's gaze as the ragged cyan cloth on his body suddenly blazed with cyan-black light.
"Roar!"
A thunderous beastly roar echoed as a bloody maw burst from the banner, swallowing the enormous幽魂 in a single bite. It didn't even have a chance to make a sound.
