Chapter Forty-Six
The morning sun filtered gently through the linen curtains of their seaside villa, painting the room in soft gold and amber. Elena stirred, blinking against the light, and became aware of a steady warmth beside her. She turned, half-asleep, to find Adrian still asleep, a faint crease of a smile on his face as he shifted slightly toward her.
For a long moment, she simply watched him—peaceful, unguarded, vulnerable and allowed herself to savor the sight. Rarely had she seen him so relaxed, unburdened by contracts, board meetings, or expectations. And for the first time, she realized just how deeply she loved him, not just for his strength or composure, but for the man he truly was: tender, complex, fiercely loyal, and entirely hers.
