Chapter 1 – Collapse
The sky above the city was heavy, covered with thick gray clouds.
In a narrow, filthy alley, Ryo — the feared gang leader — stared at his reflection in a puddle of water.
His cold eyes, hardened face, and imposing build were enough to inspire fear. Yet behind this mask of violence lay a deep weariness.
Ryo (thought): Another night of blood… Is this really my life? … I'm tired of fighting.
Suddenly, a shadow appeared behind him.
A cold blade pierced into his back.
His men screamed, but Ryo's world was already fading.
He collapsed to his knees, hands trembling, blood spreading across the cobblestones.
Ryo (whispering): Betrayed… by my own brothers?…
His body fell heavily to the ground. Rain began to pour, washing away the blood, as if the city itself sought to erase his existence.
In his final moments, one thought echoed in his mind:
Ryo (thought): If only… I could start over…
An oppressive silence swallowed the alley.
Then, everything turned black.
