It was a usual Friday night,
He opened his window letting out an exhausted and disappointed sigh. He watched the people walk on the street laughing and talking making him feel envious.
His parents had died when he was young in a car crash and he had no other support or family, all his friends had left for college the previous summer leaving him now alone, he had to work 14 hours a day just to keep up with rent and other things like food, jumping from job to job because of this he barely hung out with his friends before they left because and he had been drifting further and further apart from them. He was truly alone.
In his apartment a sad old matras laid on the floor become yellower with each passing hour opposite, the fridge stood there as an empty shell just like his life… it was truly a sad way to live.
Letting out a sigh he asked himself "why is my life so boring and lonely?"

Out of nowhere a sudden eerie feeling crept from outside the window, for some reason he felt like something big was going to happen an felt a bit of a thril but nothing seemed to happen… it was just his imagination, as that thought passes the scene changed and dozens of otherworldly portals opened tearing though the fabric of space emanating a mystical aura that sent out ripples into the surrounding areas people began to be pulled helplessly entering the portal.
His jaw had long been dropped in disbelief he was dumbfounded he wanted something excited to happen but this "SERIOUSLY!!!"
Lost in the moment a mysterious force had grasped his body pulling him, he turned around and a portal began to materialise out of air.
He tried to resist the mysterious force gripping onto the window for his simple life. But once he caught a glimpse into the portal everything change a shriek of glimmer could be seen in his eyes and his previous words of asking why his life was so boring and sad echoed in his mind but the only thing he could focus on was the portal. It felt like it the secrets of the universe were being held on the other side waiting for his arrival. He knew this would lead to the exciting life he wanted
Feeling a rush travel his body, he let his grip loosen allowing himself to glide towards the portal, While being pulled towards it, a massive grin grew on his face.
It had been a long while, but Eric had finally smiled…
