It was a usual Friday night,
He opened his window letting the night air hit his face and he let out a sigh of relief. His life was kinda sad.
His parents had died in a car crash when he was young and he had no other support or family, all his friends had left for college the previous summer leaving him with now alone, he had to work 14 hours a day just to keep up with rent and other things like food jumping from job to job to be honest he barely hung with his friends because of this and he had been driving further and further apart from them previously. He was truly alone.
In his apartment a matras laid on the floor become yellower with each passing hour opposite, the fridge stood there as an empty just like his life… it was truly sad.
Letting out a sigh he asked himself "why is my life so boring and lonely?"
Out of nowhere an eerie feeling crept from outside the window suddenly, the scene changed dozens of otherworldly portals opened tearing though the fabric of space emanating a mystical aura that pulled the helpless people like droplets into a vortex
His jaw had long been dropped in disbelief
Lost in the moment a mysterious force had grasped his body pulling him, he turned around and a portal began to materialise out of air.
At first he resisted by holding onto the window sill for his life. Once he caught a glimpse into the portal a glimmer shrieked in his eyes and his previous words "why is my life so boring and lonely" echoed in his mind but the only thing he could focus on was the portal. It felt like it the secrets of the universe were being held on the other side waiting for his arrival.
He jumped towards the portal in excitement, being pulled towards it, a massive grin grew on his face.
It had been a long while, but Eric had finally smiled…
