Episode 2 – An Embarrassing Situation 😅
After saying goodbye to Elya,
Ren and Hina got on the bicycle.
Ren in the front, Hina in the back.
Ren: Hold on tight, Hina.
Hina: Okay.
Ren began pedaling, and they rode off down the road.
The air hitting their faces was refreshing, carrying the coolness of the early morning and the scent of streets still damp with dawn dew.
Ren turned the corner quickly, weaving confidently between cars in a way that surprised Hina.
Hina: Ren! Be careful!
He sped up slightly, and suddenly a speed bump appeared in front of them.
The bicycle lifted slightly off the ground, and both of them jumped with it.
Hina gasped instinctively and grabbed Ren tightly around his waist.
Hina: Ren! Be careful, we almost fell!
In that moment…
Ren froze.
His face and cheeks turned bright red.
Ren's inner voice: She's holding me… and she's so close… this is way too close!
Ren (nervously): Hina… you're really close to me…
Hina: What?! We almost fell just now!
Ren continued riding, trying to focus on the road, but his heart was beating faster than the bicycle itself.
After a few minutes, they approached the school.
Hina: Finally, we're here… good thing we're not late.
She looked at Ren and noticed his flushed face.
Hina: Ren, what's wrong with your face? Why is it red?
Ren (flustered): Huh? No—don't look at me!
She paused…
Then remembered she had grabbed his waist.
Her face turned red too.
Hina: Ren! You idiot!
Ren: What did I do this time?!
Hina ran toward the classroom, covering her face with her hands.
Ren (sighing): This day won't pass peacefully…
He parked his bicycle and entered the classroom.
The room was noisy; everyone was talking since the teacher was a little late.
Kai: Aren't Ren and Hina late?
Yui: I haven't seen them today.
Take: You're right.
Mika: Hmm… Hina didn't say she'd be absent.
Yui (with a mischievous smile): Maybe they were on a romantic date.
Kai lightly hits Yui on the head.
Kai: You're stupid.
Mika: Yui only thinks about romance.
Suddenly, the classroom door opens loudly.
Hina: Good morning!
Yui: Hina!
Kai: Finally! Where's Ren?
Take: Where were you two?
Mika: And why is your face red?
Hina (nervous): Don't ask about that…
She sat down and added:
We dropped Elya at her school and talked to her teacher.
Kai: Why? Did something happen?
Hina: What? You don't know?
Everyone: No!
Hina: Some kids are bullying Elya.
Kai: What?!
Yui: Whoever gets near Elya-chan, I'll break them!
Take: Why didn't Ren tell us?
Kai: That idiot… he hides things from us!
Meanwhile, in the hallway, Ren was walking absentmindedly.
He ran into the teacher.
Teacher: Why aren't you in class?
Ren: I took my sister to her school and spoke with her teacher.
Teacher: That's a good action. Take good care of her.
Ren entered the classroom.
He looked at his friends…
Kai's face was angry.
Take looked confused.
Yui's face was shining with something strange.
Mika looked calm as usual.
And Hina… was trying to act normal.
Ren's inner voice: I think I'll be executed today… everyone's staring at me like I'm a criminal… except Hina.
He looked at Hina… and smiled unconsciously.
Ren (out loud without realizing): She's really beautiful…
The classroom fell silent.
Hina: What did you say?!
She hit him on the head with a book.
The students burst into laughter.
Ren: I forgot I said that out loud…
Hina (face burning): Idiot!
The teacher entered.
Teacher: Everyone to your seats!
The lesson began.
Ren stared out the window, lost in thought.
Teacher: Ren, tell us what Edison said.
Ren: Huh? What?
He looked at Hina for help.
The teacher approached and lightly tapped him on the head.
Teacher: Pay attention!
Ren: Sorry…
He thought Hina was angry at him, but when he looked at her, she was frantically searching for the page in her book.
Kai (whispering): Page 30, you lovebirds.
Ren & Hina together: Shut up!
Teacher: Since you two can't calm down, Ren and Hina will clean the science lab today.
Ren & Hina: Yes, sir…
The first period ended, and everyone started talking again.

بعد أن ودّع رين وهينا أليا،
ركبا على الدراجة الهوائية.
رين في الأمام وهينا في الخلف.
رين: تمسكي جيدًا يا هينا.
هينا: حسنًا.
بدأ رين بتحريك قدميه على بدّالة الدراجة، وانطلقت بهما في الطريق.
الهواء الذي يضرب وجهيهما كان منعشًا، يحمل برودة صباح خفيفة ورائحة الشوارع المبللة بندى الفجر.
التفّ رين عند الزاوية بسرعة، ومرّ بين السيارات بثقة جعلت هينا تندهش.
هينا: رين! انتبه قليلًا!
زاد رين سرعته قليلًا، وفجأة ظهر مطب أمامهما.
ارتفعت الدراجة قليلًا عن الأرض، وقفز الاثنان معها.
شهقت هينا دون وعي، وأمسكت بخصر رين بقوة.
هينا: رين! انتبه، كدنا نقع!
في تلك اللحظة…
تجمّد رين.
احمرّ وجهه وخدّاه بشدة.
صوت رين الداخلي: إنها تمسك بي… وهي قريبة جدًا… هذا قريب جدًا!
رين، بتوتر: هينا… أنتِ قريبة جدًا مني…
هينا: ماذا؟! كدنا نسقط قبل قليل!
أكمل رين طريقه وهو يحاول أن يركّز في الطريق، لكن قلبه كان يخفق أسرع من الدراجة نفسها.
بعد دقائق، اقتربا من المدرسة.
هينا: وأخيرًا وصلنا… جيد أننا لم نتأخر.
نظرت إلى رين، ولاحظت احمرار وجهه.
هينا: رين، ما خطب وجهك؟ لماذا هو محمر؟
رين، مرتبكًا: ها؟ لا… لا تنظري إليّ!
توقفت لحظة…
ثم تذكرت أنها أمسكته من خصره.
بدأ وجهها يحمر أيضًا.
هينا: رين! أيها الأحمق!
رين: ماذا فعلت هذه المرة؟!
ركضت هينا نحو الفصل وهي تخفي وجهها بيديها.
رين، وهو يزفر: هذا اليوم لن يمر بسلام…
وضع رين دراجته في موقف الدراجات، ثم دخل إلى الفصل.
الفصل كان صاخبًا، الجميع يتحدث لأن المعلم تأخر قليلًا.
كاي: ألم يتأخر رين وهينا؟
يوي: لم أرهما اليوم.
تاكي: أنتِ محقة.
ميكا: همم… هينا لم تتغيب ولم تخبرنا بشيء.
يوي، بابتسامة ماكرة: ربما كانا في موعد رومانسي.
كاي يضرب رأس يوي بخفة: أنتِ غبية.
ميكا: يوي لا تفكر إلا بالرومانسية.
فجأة، يُفتح باب الفصل بقوة.
هينا: صباح الخير!
يوي: هينا!
كاي: أخيرًا أتيتِ، أين رين؟
تاكي: أين كنتما؟
ميكا: ولماذا وجهك محمر؟
هينا، متوترة: لا تسألوا عن ذلك…
جلست في مقعدها، ثم قالت: أوصلنا أليا إلى مدرستها، وتحدثنا مع معلمتها.
كاي: لماذا؟ هل حدث شيء؟
هينا: ماذا؟ ألا تعلمون؟
الجميع: لا!
هينا: هناك أطفال يتنمّرون على أليا.
كاي: ماذا؟!
يوي: من يقترب من أليا-تشان سأكسره!
تاكي: لماذا لم يخبرنا رين؟
كاي: ذلك الأحمق… يخفي الأمور عنا!
في الممر، كان رين يسير وهو شارد الذهن.
صادف المعلم.
المعلم: لماذا لست في الفصل؟
رين: أوصلت أختي إلى مدرستها وتحدثت مع معلمتها.
المعلم: تصرف جيد. اعتنِ بها جيدًا.
دخل رين إلى الفصل.
نظر إلى أصدقائه…
وجه كاي غاضب.
وجه تاكي محتار.
وجه يوي يلمع بشيء غريب.
وجه ميكا هادئ كعادته.
أما هينا… فكانت تحاول أن تبدو طبيعية.
صوت رين الداخلي: أظن أنني سأُعدم اليوم… الجميع ينظر إليّ كأنني مجرم… باستثناء هينا.
نظر إلى هينا، وابتسم دون وعي.
رين، بصوت مسموع دون أن ينتبه: إنها جميلة فعلًا…
سكت الفصل للحظة.
هينا: ماذا قلت؟!
ضربته بالكتاب على رأسه.
الطلاب انفجروا ضحكًا.
رين: نسيت أنني قلتها بصوت عالٍ…
هينا، ووجهها مشتعل: أحمق!
دخل المعلم: الجميع إلى أماكنهم!
بدأ الدرس.
رين كان ينظر من النافذة شاردًا.
المعلم: رين، أخبرنا ماذا قال إديسون؟
رين: ها؟ ماذا؟
التفت نحو هينا طالبًا المساعدة.
المعلم اقترب وضربه بخفة على رأسه: انتبه إلى الدرس!
رين: آسف…
ظن أن هينا غاضبة منه، لكنه عندما نظر إليها وجدها تبحث عن صفحة الكتاب مرتبكة.
كاي، هامسًا: الصفحة 30 أيها العاشقان.
رين وهينا معًا: اخرس!
المعلم: رين وهينا، بما أنكما لن تهدآ، أنتما من سينظف مختبر العلوم اليوم.
رين وهينا: حاضر يا أستاذ…
انتهت الحصة الأولى، وبدأ الجميع يتحدث من جديد.
