Kavya's pov:
I opened my eyes, and my stomach still hurts.
I was expecting to be alone, but Kashish was sitting right next to me.
"How are you feeling now?" she asked with concern.
"I am fine, just have abdominal pain, let's go to the class", I said.
"All classes are over."
"What?? How am I supposed to do work then?" Fear crept over me.
"No need to worry, give me your no. I will share it with you."
She took my no. and message "hello" on WhatsApp. I quickly saved the number.
I tried to walk out, but my stomach is still hurting.
"I don't think you can make to home, I'll drive you there", she said
Maybe she is right, "but what about my cycle?", I murmured.
She smiled, "We will put it into the trunk".
"Thank you very much", I said.
"No need to say that after all we are friends, right!!!" she said with a smile
A friend.
We both went straight to her car in the parking lot.
"Are you sure you will drive me to my home? I live very far from here," I said with concern.
"Obviously, tell me where you live", she said while gesturing to sit in the car.
"Willow Hills", I replied.
"Ohh, that beautiful place out of the city. that's about two kilometres away from the school. Don't tell me you drive a cycle from that far place."
I just smiled at her.
"How can you even do that daily?", we began moving.
"Just a habit", I said.
She looked amazed.
"Where do you live, by the way?" I asked
"I live in cocktail tower", she replied.
"But we left it behind, seriously, you don't need to do this much, I can go home by myself", I said.
I was ashamed to have her help.
"I said there is no problem, I just have to drive, unlike you", I nodded.
It took us 15 minutes to reach my home, seriously, it takes me half an hour to reach school by cycle.
"There you are", she said, pointing to my place.
"It's a very beautiful place. peaceful and calming," she said while looking around.
"Yeah, after all, there are no neighbours to get clashed with", I said with laugh.
I heard her chuckling, too.
"Do you want to come in?" I asked.
"I really wanted to, but my tuition is in 30 minutes, maybe another day", she said while looking into her watch.
I nodded, and she drove back to the city.
I finally made a friend.
