Chapter 2 - CHAPTER:2 Friend or Enemy

Kavya's POV:

The math lecture ended after one hour, and we had a 15-minute break before the next class. I must ask Sidd for the pending work. I turned to face him and found that this lethargic monkey was sleeping. The lecture had just ended, and he had fallen asleep so quickly. Is he Nobita?

I took out a pen from my pouch and began poking his arm lightly to wake him up. Is he sleeping or dead?

He raised his head, "What now?" said annoyingly.

"Actually, I want to borrow your notes, just for a few minutes. I'll return them after taking pictures, " I said in one breath.

A glimpse of a smile appeared on the edge of his lips, clearly suppressing his laugh.

Did I say something funny? Why does it seem to laugh at me?

He took out a few notebooks from his bag, "Here you go," he said.

I wasn't prepared for this action. I thought he was still mad at me. Maybe I was just overthinking.

I took my phone out to take pictures. His writing is damn good, unless like mine.

I returned to notebooks and began with my studies.

"Since our English teacher is absent, we are having PE class, so get ready and move to the indoor basketball court," a student said.

Maybe he is the class monitor

I went to the washroom and got changed. While leading to the court I can see everyone chattering with their friends, and to be honest, I felt a bit jealous.

I never had a real friend. it feels like I have never been someone's priority. I always feel like the last option or thing to be used by everyone for their own good.

We gathered at court in rows, and the PE teacher blew the whistle, giving instructions.

We were instructed to run two rounds of the court as a warm-up, and after that, we could choose the game we wanted to play.

We did the same, and after completing the task, most of the students felt Exhausted.

Seriously, it's just two rounds. Children nowadays are supersensitive. Maybe credit goes to their mobile phone. Do I sound like a typical Indian mom??

Now it was time to choose a game.

I choose to play basketball because that's my game. I somehow convinced Kashish to play along. No girl was playing. I don't want to look desperate to play with boys on the first day of school.

I am just different from those girls, I guess.

Teaming was done, Sidd, Aditya, Kashish, and Rahul were in one team while I, Arjun, Abhay and Kartik were in the other.

Honestly, it was quite embarrassing to play with someone you don't even know, and in my case, I barely remember the name and face.

However, the match began, Sidd and Kartik, I guess, jumped to play ball. Somehow the ball ended up in my hand, and it was time to show.

I began dribbling and ran straight to the ring. none of them were able to catch me when I pulled out my move.

The Lape, the ball spun around like a Beyblade and went straight to the ring.

I heard a loud sound of hooting, "wohh, that girl is amazing".

I was trying hard to suppress my blush . "Nice coincidence", I heard someone say as they passed by me.

Sidd, that squid has the nerve to say my years of hard work are a coincidence.

I was hurt, really, really hurt.

Let me show him what I am capable of, and one after another, I kept on doing baskets; everyone was completely shocked. I could see the rage in his face.

I was almost exhausted, so standing near the ring ball was in Sidd's hand as if he wanted to take a shot.

I looked at the ring, but the ball never came there. I shifted my gaze to the opponent when I realised the ball was coming straight to me. Before my reflexes could do anything, the ball hit me right on my stomach.

"Maa," I screamed out, and everything went black.

Sidd, I guess we are clearly enemies.
