The identity of the elite centuar who was murdered had been revealed to be the main city's mayor - Hargeth's second son, Haethien. It was ruled out as a conspiracy related to the NML internal trifes. The four dragon clans did not wish to be involved any further, so they paid tribute through donations necessary to arrange for the funeral as their way of showing concern. But only to a small extent.
"The humans are most likely to have played a part in this," Rodengard whispered to Katsuhito, the Night's king.
"Maybe, but we have no way of telling for sure," he replied, "Any ideas Ethpan?" he turned to ask the Sun's king.
Ethpan took a moment to consider, and lightly shook his head. "This matter is not yet of our concern. What's you intake, Fronheis?" he asked when he noticed how distant the Frost kingdom's king was while he mercilessly devoured a freshly roasted chicken drumstick.
"Whatever the motive is, we'll know when the perpetrator attacks again wont we? Besides, If the humans are really involved, one way or the other; we're going to find the loophole somewhere," Fronheis replied and gulped down the remaining contents in his wine glass to digest the meat he had swallowed.
The four kings nodded in consensus and the dinner continued. Everyone had adventures to share. Laughter filled the massive dining hall as food kept being served. Others boasting about their accomplishments while some only paid a deaf ear to the whispers circulating to and fro.
Ryu had been teased for having been caught laughing as the rumour had reached everyone's ears. He was known to be cold and aloof so that had come as a shock to almost everyone.
At first he cared. But not anymore. The only thing in his mind at that moment, was dominating Xenroth once more. It had been a long day and he wanted a different taste to satisfy his needs. A different liquid, to quench his thirst.
The contract allowed him to connect with her feelings and through that, he knew she wanted the same thing.
"If you'll excuse me your royal highnesses. Dinner was splendid. I shall retreat to my humble abode and bid you farewell, as well as a pleasant night for the rest of your evening," Ryu said with a bow and exited the dining hall.
Yes, he was hungry. But this was starvation for a different type of food. He could not hold in any longer.
A few minutes later, Xenroth excused herself. Fronheis and Neomal exchanged a few knowing glances but quickly averted their gaze to avoid any possible suspicions. Rin knew what was about to happen but decided to cover up for their absence and made it seem like the most normal and rational thing to happen soon after a royal dinner.
Holding them back would be waste of time because the two of them had no regards whatsoever, to the rules. The only thing they cared about was satisfying their undying lust.

"Took you long enough," Ryu complained as soon as Xenroth entered her room.
"Change of location huh?" she teased.
Ryu pinned her against the wall and used his shadow ability to lock the door tight.
"I'm not letting you go tonight," he whispered with a deep raspy voice making her body shiver with excitement as his cool air blissfully embraced the tip of her right ear, some escaping to her neck.
His lips gently touched and graced her nape with kisses and she let out soft moans.
"I wonder what awaits me next, your royal highness Ryu..." she sighed erotically.
"I guess it's about time we found out," he replied and slid his long masculine fingers into her trouser after squeezing its way past her waistband.
"I'm all yours," she gave in.
