Chapter 3 - Let's Start with a Cliché Scene (3)

'Am I dead?'

My head felt very dizzy.

'Is this hell?'

I had assumed that I had gone to hell, but I realized that there was no pain in my body.

I opened my eyes and realized that I was still normal.

I could still use my nose to breathe in air, I could still move my hands to feel what was around, and I could still use my hearing to hear the sounds around me.

'Where is this?'

'Why am I not dead yet?'

'Where are all the wounds that damn demon put on my body?!'

Blink~ Blink~

I kept blinking my eyes to gather the rest of my consciousness until I finally realized that I really wasn't dead.

I suddenly felt a sense of deja vu.

'The white ceiling with the same chandelier...'

The breeze from the slightly open window brought the scent of fresh night air. But my nose received more of the scent of a woman's body, which was the same as what I had experienced long ago.

'Unmistakably, this is the same place where my soul first transmigrated to this world.'

I lifted half of my body.

According to what I remembered, I was lying on a bed.

Sleeping beside me were women in half-open maid outfits. Their clothes were open as if they had been ripped off by someone, not voluntarily opened.

'One, two... four.'

There were four maids sleeping on the bed with me.

They were all in an unconscious state.

My hand, which I had moved to feel earlier, accidentally landed on the chest of one of them.

It felt soft, but I wasn't going to make the same mistake twice.

I quickly pulled my hand back and got off the bed.

Right under the bed was a bunch of glass bottles. From inside the glass bottles came a very strong smell of alcohol. Unmistakably, they were a bunch of wine bottles with extremely high alcohol levels, the cause of the maids losing consciousness.

With very careful steps, I looked for a large mirror to see my reflection. Although my head was still spinning, I managed to stand in front of the large mirror parked in the corner of the room.

Slit eyes that almost seemed like they weren't open at all, short but messy black hair, and my naked body that showed that there weren't any wounds on my upper body....

'Have I regressed? Back to the past? Back to the time when I first transmigrated to this fantasy world similar to The Villain's Harem novel?!'

This naked upper body of mine should be full of wounds from various kinds of battles. Such as the various kinds of torture I received either while trying to survive in this world, or while doing hell-like training after meeting Noctyssa.

"Huft~"

I took a deep breath.

The alcohol in my body managed to help me calm down, but the most influential factor was that I had experienced something similar.

It wasn't hard for me to accept this transition process between death and my rebirth because I had experienced my soul transmigrating into this world.

The difference between my transmigration experience back then and my experience now lies in... back then, I didn't come to this world because I died, but rather my soul was simply sucked into this world without any death scene.

People think that the transition between death and rebirth will take place in the blink of an eye, but that's not the case.

The feeling I had after being killed by the demon named Memphis was like floating in the air with no light, falling into darkness, until a lot of time passed before I finally managed to find the light.

While standing in front of the mirror, I used the character identification function on myself.

When looking at my status window, I felt quite sad when I saw my General Status section; everything was empty again.

The Warrior Class I had after healing my mana core was gone...

The Archer subclass that I got after practicing shooting thousands or millions of arrows was gone...

My overall stats also seem to have reset, except for my Intelligence stat.

Despite all my misfortune, there were a few things that still stuck to my status window... skills.

'All my skills are still intact, huh.'

Both the rank ex skill that I got by chance, and the Mastery of the Bow lv. 5 skill that I had upgraded after risking many lives on the battlefield, everything was still intact.

I unintentionally showed a wide smile on my lips, even though I had made it a habit to always smile under any circumstances, but this time I smiled wider than usual.

Before Memphis killed me, Simon managed to recognize me, too, thanks to the smile I showed before death.

When Simon saw my face, his explanation was clear... He recognized me as the brother of one of his harem members.

No mistake indeed, my identity in this world was one of the brothers of his many harem members.

I myself only appeared once in the novel The Villain's Harem.

Naturally, Simon doesn't really remember my face because the role I played in this world was a minor character, not an important character, just like the support characters who always help him on his side.

'I think it's a great achievement for a side character like me to have survived to the point where the ending of The Villain's Harem novel was completed.'

"Hey, w-wake up!" One of the maids on the bed seemed to have regained consciousness. "W-We must escape from here immediately before Young Master Kieran preys on us!"

Perhaps it was because the maid didn't notice me standing in the corner of the bedroom, so she spoke as if I wasn't in the room.

She continued to shake her friend's body to wake her up. "It seems that you guys are still too drunk! Wait a moment, I'll call for help!" The maid came down with her hands on her head; it was only when she stood up that she saw me.

"Hieekk!" She gasped and fell back onto the mattress. Her first response was to cover her exposed cleavage with both hands, while apologizing, "So-sorry, Young Master!"

I didn't say anything to the maid.

If I had to summarize my current state... 'It looks like I need to get out of this honey trap.' I picked up the linen clothes that seemed to be the ones my body was wearing before, then I went out through the window.
