If my life were a novel… then the author must be playing a prank on me.
A massive prank.
But that's okay.
I, Liliane Hohenberg—a woman with diamond-like intelligence, a cute heart, and god-level confidence—will not give up just because of two minor failures that were actually quite embarrassing, traumatic, and potentially damaging to the family reputation (true, that's an exaggeration, but please just go with it).
Today…
I brought Duke Tristan to a place that leaves even me in awe.
An animal cafe.
A place where nobles can enjoy tea and cakes… accompanied by furry creatures that are cute, soft, and (supposedly) non-judgmental of one's dark past.
I stared around in amazement.
"This world is extraordinary…" I murmured softly. "Even in a noble-era setting… a place like this exists…"
Mary, behind me, gave me a look that could be translated as "What on earth are you talking about, My Lady?"
Clara looked a bit worried seeing so many animals roaming around.
