Chapter 685 - Chapter 684 — Ten Thousand Barossas

After moving to his new place, Yuzhou gave Haruki and Juggler his updated address.

To be honest, staying on this Earth long-term was rather boring.

Cerebro, the ultimate antagonist, had already been dealt with. The remaining monsters were little more than cannon fodder—hardly worth fighting.

If there was anything remotely noteworthy, it would be the Yapool from another dimension.

No—more precisely, the Terrible-Monster Baraba, born from Yapool's lingering resentment.

Time passed quietly.

One day, Haruki brought Yuka to Yuzhou's residence, asking him to help translate the Taiping Fudoki, since it was written entirely in ancient Chinese characters.

Yuzhou wasn't particularly well-versed in classical script, but since it was still Chinese, he could at least understand the gist.

The reason for translating the Taiping Fudoki was that the monster recorded within—Horoboros—had revived. Yuka hoped to find a way to pacify it and put it back to sleep.

In the end, this rather unremarkable monster was successfully calmed by Z and Yuka and returned to slumber beneath the earth.

However, just as things seemed settled, Z—his Colour Timer flashing red—encountered a Barossa Alien who had come seeking revenge.

Speaking of the Barossa Aliens—

They were that infamous alien race with ten thousand siblings.

Cosmic pirates who loved plundering and collecting weapons.

The one they were facing now was a relative of the Barossa Alien that had once been instantly killed by Belial. With Belial gone from this Earth, revenge had finally arrived.

Z, already exhausted, was completely overpowered. He was beaten back into his human form, forcibly reverting, and even had his Z Lance Arrow stolen.

"Haruki, are you alright?"

On a deserted road, Yuzhou helped the drenched and exhausted Haruki to his feet and asked calmly.

The Barossa Alien, meanwhile, was gleefully testing its newly acquired toy, rampaging through the city without restraint.

Suddenly, a brilliant flash of light erupted.

A silver-black-purple Tiga appeared before the alien.

Yuzhou glanced once and immediately understood.

Juggler has entered the fight.

"I'm fine, Senior!"

Haruki pushed himself up, sweat pouring down his face like rain.

Two consecutive battles had drained his stamina to the limit—especially the second one, where he had been utterly crushed by the Barossa Alien.

"Senior, my lance arrow… it stole my weapon!"

Haruki pointed at the alien; his voice filled with frustration.

That bastard hadn't just stolen the weapon—it had used its abilities against him and forced Z back into human form.

Haruki couldn't swallow that humiliation.

"Calm down," Yuzhou said, patting his shoulder. "Your body can't fight anymore. Rest for now."

"I know… Senior."

Haruki nodded, breathing heavily.

"Leave this one to your captain. He can handle it."

Juggler was already fighting the Barossa Alien and seemed to be holding a slight advantage.

"Captain?" Haruki froze, then stared at Tiga on the battlefield.

"Wait… that's the captain?!"

Although Juggler had transformed before, Haruki never imagined that his own captain was Ultraman Tiga.

Riku and Belial—who knew the truth—had never told him.

"Yes," Yuzhou replied calmly. "Your captain is a veteran of countless battlefields."

Juggler did not disappoint.

After a fierce exchange, he completely suppressed the Barossa Alien and finished it with a decisive beam attack.

But neither Yuzhou nor Haruki expected what came next.

The sky suddenly darkened.

"Is it going to rain?" Haruki asked, looking up in confusion.

"No." Yuzhou narrowed his eyes. "Those aren't rain clouds… they're Aliens Barossa."

"But didn't the captain just defeat it?"

"Yes," Yuzhou replied slowly.

"But it still has nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-eight siblings."

"…What?!"

After defeating the Barossa Alien, Juggler looked up at the black mass filling the sky and felt a chill run down his spine.

"These guys are really annoying…"

Muttering to himself, he rolled his wrists, preparing for a decisive battle.

In truth, Juggler wasn't overly worried.

As a seasoned survivor, he knew that even if he couldn't handle all of them, someone would intervene.

"Can the captain really handle this?!" Haruki asked anxiously.

Dark clouds pressed down like an impending apocalypse.

"He'll be fine," Yuzhou said calmly, helping Haruki sit on a nearby public bench.

"Let's see where his limit lies."

The Barossa Aliens weren't strong individually—the problem was their numbers, and the sheer variety of weapons they carried.

After all, they loved scavenging across the universe, collecting anything left behind by monsters or aliens.

"If Earth becomes the battlefield…" Juggler sighed, "…this city will be erased."

Having made his decision, he stomped the ground hard.

His body turned into a streak of dark-purple light and shot straight into the sky.

As he rapidly approached the Barossa swarm, he could clearly see the dense mass preparing to descend upon Earth.

Once they noticed him, the aliens halted.

"Lampart Light Bullet!"

Without hesitation, Juggler fired a blast straight into the swarm.

Boom!

Several tightly packed Barossa Aliens were instantly annihilated.

That single shot drew maximum aggro.

"Arrogant bastard—kill him!"

"Revenge our brothers and sisters!"

"Attack! Attack!"

"Yiii—yii—yii—!"

"…."

Though born from the same source, Barossa Aliens varied wildly—some could speak, some couldn't, and others bore strange deformities or mutations.

Using the opening created by the Lampart Light Bullet, Juggler blasted a path through the swarm and broke free before they could react.

The Barossa Aliens immediately gave chase.

To keep Earth from becoming a battlefield, Juggler led them toward the Moon.

As the swarm departed, the Earth's skies finally cleared.

"Senior… the captain won't be in danger, right?" Haruki asked nervously.

With the battlefield moved off world, they could no longer see or assist Juggler if things turned critical.

"I'll go check," Yuzhou said. "You call Yoko to pick you up and get treated."

With that, Yuzhou took out the Sparklence, placed it against his chest, and pressed the transformation button.

Instead of growing giant, he remained human-sized.

He clenched both fists, swept them outward to either side—

White particles rose around him.

In the next instant, his body vanished from where he stood.

"T-Teleportation?!"

Haruki stared, mouth hanging open.
