Chapter 381 – Multiple Silvergons
"Wei Feng! You crazy fool—where are you?!"
With no other choice, Yu Zhou stepped forward and began searching through the rubble.
He shouted Wei Feng's name again and again as he lifted away heavy slabs of concrete and chunks of broken walls.
After a while, his sharp hearing picked up a faint sound — weak, laboured breathing coming from beneath the ruins.
Rushing over, Yu Zhou began to dig frantically, moving aside the shattered debris piece by piece.
Before long, the crushed figure of Wei Feng emerged — blood covering his face, limbs twisted and bruised purple, his whole body caked in blood and dust.
In his hand, he was still gripping his phone tightly.
Yu Zhou quickly cleared the stones away but didn't dare move him. Wei Feng was barely alive — one wrong touch could end his life completely.
Without hesitation, Yu Zhou pulled out a healing elixir from his dimensional bracelet — the miracle medicine he had bought on the Earth-like planet inhabited by Neo Ancient Humans.
No matter how severe the injury, it could restore life instantly.
He slipped the pill into Wei Feng's mouth. The moment it touched his tongue, it melted and flowed into his body, spreading rapidly through his veins.
Before Yu Zhou's eyes, Wei Feng's wounds began closing at a visible speed.
Within moments, his body was completely healed — even his broken limbs reattached perfectly.
"Still works like a charm," Yu Zhou murmured, nodding in approval.
It was the first time he had used one of these miracle pills — though it meant Wei Feng had become his first test subject.
But in a situation like this, he had no other choice.
Of course, Yu Zhou trusted the medical science of that world.
When he'd bought the pills, the salesperson assured him they had no side effects — made entirely from a rare plant's essence, even containing a trace of Gijera's extract as a stabilizing ingredient.
Since it was safe, Yu Zhou had no worries about using it now.
Seeing that Wei Feng was beginning to stir, Yu Zhou decided to leave quickly.
If Wei Feng discovered he had been saved by Yu Zhou, there would be endless questions — like how he'd pulled him back from the gates of death.
In such cases, the best strategy was retreat.
With that thought, Yu Zhou turned and hurried away from the ruins.
He remembered that Wei Feng's parents both worked out of town, leaving him to live alone.
So at least Yu Zhou didn't have to worry about anyone else being trapped under the debris.
While making his way through a narrow alley, wondering how to return unnoticed, the Dark Spark Lance in his pocket suddenly emitted a soft chime — a silver, bell-like sound.
"What now?" Yu Zhou muttered, pulling it out. The black staff was flickering with light — as if trying to deliver a message.
Moments later, Camearra's voice came through the device, startling him.
"Another Silvergon has appeared — this time in Japan."
"Help! Somebody help us! There's really a monster!"
"Oh my God! Run! Run!"
"Get to the basement, now!"
"That monster—it's Silvergon! It's incredibly strong!"
"Why isn't Ultraman here yet?!"
"Save us, Tiga!"
"Please, Tiga Ultraman, help us!"
Panic and screams filled the streets of Yokohama, where another Silvergon was rampaging without restraint.
With no Ultraman to stop it, the creature smashed through buildings like toys.
Japan's military forces fought back — but for reasons of capability or limitation, they were far weaker than other nations.
Against Silvergon's overwhelming strength and thick hide, their weapons were nearly useless.
Tanks fired round after round, but the monster simply swatted them aside with its massive claws. Entire units were wiped out in moments.
Fighter jets streaked overhead, firing missiles that burst uselessly against Silvergon's armoured skin.
"Are we… really going to be destroyed like this?"
Despair filled the hearts of the people watching their nation's futile struggle.
"I just hope—if Ultraman could appear right now and destroy that thing!"
"Why doesn't Ultraman show up in Japan, like in the shows?"
"Please! Save us, Tiga!"
The city was in chaos — people running, shouting, praying as the monster's roars and explosions echoed across every street.
For ordinary humans with no way to resist, this was nothing short of the end of the world.
Then, just as despair reached its peak —
A brilliant white light descended from the sky, striking the ground behind Silvergon like a falling star.
"Cha!!"
A giant of light appeared — body shining in silver, red, and violet, his colour timer glowing blue like a sapphire under the sun.
His towering presence stopped everyone in their tracks.
Crowds who had been fleeing turned back, stunned and speechless.
"It's Ultraman Tiga!"
"Tiga's here! We're saved!"
"Thank goodness! Tiga, fight!"
"Tiga Ultraman, we believe in you!"
From children to the elderly, nearly everyone in Japan knew who Ultraman was.
He was a national icon — from toddlers who could barely speak to seniors who had watched him decades ago.
And ever since real monsters had begun appearing in the world, the Ultraman fever in Japan had reached unprecedented heights.
After all, Japan was Ultraman's birthplace — and now that an Ultraman had truly appeared in reality, the entire world's attention turned toward them.
Ultraman culture was spreading globally once again.
"Cha!!"
Tiga — Yu Zhou — gave a slight nod to the people below, then raised his hands in his familiar combat stance.
In the next instant, he lunged forward and grabbed Silvergon by the arms.
"Roooar?!"
Silvergon turned its head in confusion, startled that something so large was gripping it.
But its shock quickly turned into fury. Confident in its brute strength, the monster tried to wrench itself free — yet no matter how it struggled, Tiga's grip didn't budge.
Enraged, Silvergon howled and poured all its power into breaking loose.
The horns atop its head crackled with yellow lightning, firing bursts of electric energy at Tiga in a desperate attempt to force him back.
Yu Zhou saw the attack coming. Calmly, he released Silvergon's arms and brought both hands together like blades — aiming straight for the monster's twin horns.
