Soon, the computer screen found a match, and the battle began.
At Hudra's request, Yuzhou taught him how to switch forms.
After just learning it, Hudra immediately changed the Tiga on the screen into Silver and Purple Tiga — the Sky Type.
Of course — that was just like Hudra, always choosing the aerial form even in a game.
After all, it was Hudra's power that Ultraman Tiga had absorbed thirty million years ago.
The game wasn't exactly easy to control, but Hudra wasn't stupid. He quickly mastered the basics. On top of that, Tiga was simply too powerful.
Even while Hudra was still getting used to the controls, his opponent was already on the verge of defeat.
Following Yuzhou's instructions, Hudra unleashed Tiga Sky Type's finisher, instantly blasting the enemy monster apart.
"That's it?" Hudra put down the controller, full of confidence. "That was way too easy."
"Alright, I'll get one installed for you later," Yuzhou said, shaking his head. It was clear that Hudra was really into this game.
As Yuzhou sat back down, Charija started matching again with him.
After countless attempts, the two of them finally got matched together.
Charija was overjoyed — rubbing his hands in excitement.
Of course, if they were matched together, then one of them had to win.
And if there had to be a winner, that meant one side would be defeated and devoured.
Yuzhou had no intention of letting his Tiga lose.
But Charija also knew that even if his monster was defeated by Yuzhou, it didn't really matter.
After all, surviving three minutes under Tiga's attack would earn him a stronger monster dataset.
And Yuzhou had also promised to give him the Kun's data afterward.
So, either way, Charija only stood to gain.
Yuzhou was also doing this to see what kind of purpose the person behind that forum event really had.
Letting Charija win the reward might reveal something useful.
So, after both of them idled in-game for three minutes, Yuzhou took his time and defeated Charija's monster, which exploded into light particles and was absorbed into Tiga's body.
"Sigh… my universe's most ferocious monster…"
Charija still felt a bit sad. After all, he had played with it for so long — and now it was gone.
But he quickly cheered up.
With the new data, he could rebuild an even stronger "Most Ferocious Monster in the Universe", one that would surpass all others!
Right in front of Yuzhou, Charija sent the battle footage to the event organizer.
The other side responded quickly — sending a long message, and at the end, attaching a folder — the event reward.
"I got it…" Charija opened the folder excitedly and looked at the files inside.
The monsters' data was indeed powerful.
Not only that — there was more than one!
This made Charija thrilled beyond words.
"With this, I can fuse them into the ultimate monster!"
Overjoyed, Charija left.
Yuzhou leaned back in his chair, thinking quietly.
So, the event host just handed over the data like that?
No tricks? No plot twists?
It didn't feel like how the story was supposed to go…
Somewhere in an office building.
Inside a dimly lit room.
A man wearing gold-rimmed glasses looked at the screenshots on his computer screen and smirked faintly.
"A monster that could last three minutes against Ultraman Tiga… hehehe…"
He typed a few commands, pulling up the data for Charija's "Most Ferocious Monster in the Universe."
Then he copied it into a memory drive.
"I should prepare a little surprise…"
Muttering to himself, the man pulled up Yuzhou's Tiga data and loaded it into the same memory drive.
"Let's see how this show plays out."
Bang!
Asuka was sent flying by a powerful kick, rolling across the ground. He groaned, then got up again.
"Who are you?!"
He glared at the black-leather-clad man standing atop a pile of old tires and drew his gun.
"So, you're Ultraman Dyna, huh?"
The man in black gave a sinister grin, then flipped through the air and delivered another heavy kick — striking Asuka square in the head.
Asuka pulled the trigger — a beam of light shot from his gun — but before it could hit, he was already knocked down again. The gun flew from his hand, landing a few meters away.
"Damn it!" Asuka gritted his teeth, glancing at the fallen gun. He clenched his fists and got back up.
"You're not from Earth!"
By now, Asuka could roughly guess the man's identity.
That strength and speed — no ordinary human could possess them.
The black-clad man clearly had no intention of letting Asuka go. He swung his fist directly at Asuka's head.
Asuka was just about to draw his Reflasher Sword to transform — when the man's punch suddenly stopped inches from his face.
"Huh?"
The man's expression changed to disbelief. His arm trembled, as though he wanted to strike further — but couldn't.
"What's going on?! Why can't I move?!"
The man shouted in shock — something like this had never happened to him before.
"You alright?"
Footsteps echoed behind Asuka. Both he and the black-clad man turned around.
A man wearing black sunglasses walked slowly toward them.
An invisible pressure seemed to radiate from him — waves of psychic energy surrounding the black-clad man.
Whirr!!!
Like a gust of fierce wind, the man in black was thrown violently backward, crashing to the ground.
"It's you!"
Asuka was surprised — he hadn't expected to see the psychic from R'lyeh again.
Kirino.
Back in R'lyeh, Kirino had shocked him by projecting battle scenes out of thin air.
Later, Masaki had told Asuka that this psychic's name was Kirino.
"I'm fine," Asuka said, straightening up and nodding gratefully. "Thanks to you this time."
"It was nothing," Kirino replied with a smile and a shake of his head. "That man was an alien. I could see his true form."
Ever since his psychic abilities evolved, Kirino's powers had grown immensely.
"You're incredible!" Asuka exclaimed. "If only I could have powers like yours!"
Kirino chuckled softly. "And I, too, wish I could become light like you."
He didn't need psychic powers to know who Asuka really was — he had already realized it back at the R'lyeh coastline.
"Oh, right — I need to catch him and question him!"
Asuka suddenly remembered and turned to run toward where the black-clad man had fallen.
"He's already gone," Kirino said, shaking his head.
