"She's doing really good," I comment as I watch Willa and the workers from the first floor on the screen in my grandmother's office.
"Indeed," she affirms.
"See? I told you she's an amazing person with great capabilities. There was no need to get me married to someone else."
My grandmother shoots me a side eye glare.
"Her background doesn't speak much for her though," she fires.
Ugh… it's always background with these people. So what if Willa is from a poor background? Doesn't make her any less an amazing person that she is.
"I'm just glad your wrinkly eyes are finally seeing thoroughly."
She drags her gaze back to the large screen, blank to my comment because she's used to it.
"I must confess that I'm impressed. I didn't expect her to blend in this easily. Even Leiara couldn't pull something like this off," she continues.
"You're the one who overestimated that girl's abilities. There's nothing much to her other than her beauty and background."
