I do not try to suppress my anger. After realizing the door is locked from the inside, I let it all out and start banging on it with every strength I can summon.
"Open up this door, Leiara! I know you're in there, so open up!"
I join in my other hand, feeling the loudness isn't yet enough because no response comes from her.
After moments of banging and shouting for her to open up but get no response, I turn to the maid that escorted me here.
"Are you sure she's in here?"
"Yes, Miss."
Frustration starts clawing at my chest, causing me to start transpiring.
"Are there no available spare keys to this room? Or the master key? Anyone."
"No, Miss. Since this is the master's room, every key is with him and he normally keeps the master key with him."
Does that mean Colson is the one who locked the door?
My heart starts sinking, pulling me down with a weighty fear as doubt fills me to the brim.
My hands are shaking, voice quivering as I ask.
