Let's rewind time a bit to before Tang San entered the Soul Hunting Forest.
God Realm,
Sitting in his Magnificent Throne, Asura God glanced at the Douluo Plane and frowned.
'What's happening here? Isn't Tang San supposed to be a Soul Master already?
How come he is still hunting for a Soul Ring?
Calculating the time, 9 months should've passed by now since his Martial Soul Awakening?' He thought, confused.
Asura God, growing worried, tried to check his fate but he could no longer see the past or the future of Tang San.
Bewildered at the fact that he, a God King, couldn't see the fate of a mortal, let alone one he transferred over himself. He tried again and again, with no result.
Asura God, frustrated at his powers not working, tried to see if it's Tang San alone he couldn't see or there were others and tried to see the fate of others, but in the end the result is the same.
"What is going on? Have I lost my godhood in my sleep? How come my Power and Authority, not respond to me?" He thought out loud.
He produced a ball of Slaughter Energy and threw it into a barren hill in Douluo Plane, instantly engulfing it in flames.
"My Power seems to be working fine, so is it my Authority and foresight that wasn't working?" He mumbled, then started checking one by one and realized something horrifying.
"Douluo Plane is no longer under my control?
How is this possible? I am a God King, and the Law enforcer even other gods has to differ to.
How is it possible for someone to remove my authority over a plane without me knowing?" He thought, feeling absolutely confused and terrified at the implications.
"No, no, I have to fix this, nothing should happen to my inheritor and his path." He panicked and started getting ready to directly intervene and eliminate any anomaly he could find that is responsible for what is happening.
He once again stared at Tang San who was entering the Soul Hunting Forest and then looked into the forest.
He soon found the Datura Snakes coiled around each other.
Detecting their Cultivation age, a plan formed in his mind and he started guiding a nearby Soul Beast to disturb the snakes and slowly guided them to Tang San's direction.
While he is guiding the Datura Snake to Tang San he notices something unusual, and takes another look and finds a Dragon Martial Soul that hasn't appeared in the universe before.
While he is intrigued by it, an accident occurred, the soul beast he is using to guide was eaten by a wolf and then in the stomach of the Datura Snake.
Noticing the change, he decided to deal with the anomaly after he dealt with his first priority quickly and used the energy in the Datura Snake to manipulate it to be killed by Tang San easily.
Then he waited until Tang San started absorbing the Soul Ring before he relaxed and turned his attention to the anomaly.

Present,
Soul Hunting Forest.
"Well, if it isn't the famed Asura Doggy. What brings you here, pest? Here to check on your weakling, of a Son/Inheritor?" Hanrui snickered as he looked at Asura God indifferently.
While he was talking he made sure Zhuqing was alright and covered her from the view of the God in front of him while crushing the Life Saving Card in his hand.
Asura God, the God of Slaughter, incharge of carnage and the Enforcer of law in the God Realm, initially felt intrigued looking at the boy in front of him who he couldn't see through.
But the moment he heard the boy's words he inexplicably felt like an invisible slap landed on his face.
Despite knowing the boy was provoking him, he took the bait.
'This brat dares to disrespect me and call me a Dog? How dare he, a mortal insult a Good King like me.' He thought.
He got angry and decided to teach a lesson to the boy. He summoned a sliver of Slaughter Energy and was about to send it to the boy to taste despair, when the boy suddenly got enveloped in a dazzling Golden light.
And before he could react a tall man with an explosive body proportions and the same facial features as the boy appeared where the boy was just standing, looking at him with disdain.
The Golden Energy surrounding the man kept rising until it reached a level higher than him and stopped.
"You.., who are you?" Asura God said, feeling genuinely confused.
'Where had that boy disappeared to? And who is this unfamiliar God who seems to be on the same level as me?' He thought.
Hanrui slapped the Asura God's projection and the little Slaughter Energy, he cursed to punish him, before he could react and snorted coldly.
"A mere projection doesn't need to know so much, get your real self here, or I'll come to your place." Hanrui said with a sneer in the rage filled eyes of the projection that slowly faded away.
