Chapter 236 - Eternals

Clang, clang, clang—

The bell chimed more rapidly, and more ruins were enveloped in blue light. From within the brilliant light, figures emerged, each with a different form, yet sharing the same name—Kamen Rider.

From Kuuga to Gabu, all main Kamen Riders, except for Decade and Zi-O, appeared in the disaster-stricken areas.

Kamen Rider Wizard, adorned in ruby armor, crouched beside a dust-covered little girl and softly said to her,

"It's alright, we Kamen Riders are your last hope."

With that, 'Wizard' conjured a driver from thin air, similar to the one on his waist, along with many rings.

The little girl took the belt. She felt a warmth from these items; the injuries she had sustained while fleeing and her hunger both vanished, and even her clothes were brand new, as if nothing had happened.

The You-Know-Who in the gem-adorned armor before her seemed to possess magic.

Out of curiosity, the little girl placed a ring on the hand-shaped buckle in the middle of the belt, and a somewhat noisy but rhythmic musical sound immediately began.

[Flame! Please! HiHiHiHiHi!]

At the same time, a similar scene unfolded elsewhere: Kamen Rider Build, with his red and blue design, appeared before a child who loved mathematics.

"Begin your own experiment."

As he spoke, 'Build' handed over a set of full bottles and a driver, which the little boy accepted as if it were an authentic toy.

Before a child carrying a game console, 'EX-Aid' encouraged him:

"Your own ending should be decided by yourself."

Similar events continued to occur: Saber would appear before those who loved to read, W before those who enjoyed reasoning, and Gabu before those who liked snacks. Some would receive a matching belt, while others would receive action figures.

Meanwhile, Eller was maintaining high-intensity spellcasting in his home; the 'Kamen Riders' appearing in the disaster-stricken areas were all avatars of his Genesis Power.

Although these avatars did not possess the full power of his true form, they were perfectly capable of healing the sick, saving lives, and spreading the renown of Kamen Rider.

The destruction caused by the four Celestial Hammer Venerables in four regions affected nearly ten million people, and the subsequent global live broadcast impacted even more.

If Orochi could harvest fear from these victims, then Eller could, through rescue, gain a large amount of Belief Power.

Eller was somewhat different from Ukiyo Ace; he could grow stronger as long as someone believed in 'Kamen Rider,' a concept with a broader scope.

Therefore, Eller, relying on his memories and Genesis Power, borrowed the forms of his predecessors to help the disaster-stricken populace.

Moreover, Eller did not limit the scope to just the disaster areas; he went wherever there was unhappiness, delivering Kamen Rider warmth and a full set of exquisite toys, causing the popularity of Kamen Rider to surge worldwide.

And on the World's most famous video website, a video related to Kamen Rider was seeing a crazy increase in views.

A middle-aged man who had just been healed looked at 'Kuuga' and asked the crimson-backed figure:

"Kamen Rider, will you always help humanity?"

"Kamen Riders are not gods." 'Kuuga' stopped, turned around, gave the man a thumbs-up, and encouraged him:

"There are things we cannot achieve even when we give our all, but until humanity can stand on its own, Kamen Riders will be humanity's support. Keep moving forward with the confidence to turn the impossible into possible."

The video's views quickly surpassed ten million, and its final view count would likely reset the video website's highest record.

Eller could tangibly feel that more and more people believed in Kamen Rider. After replenishing his divine power with the help of three Infinity Stones, he decided to meet with the Eternal.

In his memory, the Eternal could hardly be considered 'friends.'

.........

The S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier welcomed a group of newcomers. There were nine of them in total, all wearing ancient-looking yet colorful bodysuits.

They called themselves the Eternal, led by a woman named Ajak. Besides her, there was the female warrior Tina, Ikaris whose abilities resembled Superman from the Justice League next door, the fast-moving mute Makari, the illusion-creating Sprite, the mind-controlling Druig, the dark-skinned scientist Phastos, the sorceress Sersi, and the archer Kingo.

Nick Fury had a headache looking at this group of people who seemed to almost represent all Earthling races. He felt that listening to these self-proclaimed 'Eternal' give intelligence was less informative than watching Eller and Tony perform a crosstalk.

At least those two could truly bring Nick Fury good news, unlike this group.

Ever since this group appeared, Nick Fury's brow had not unfurrowed. He looked at Ajak, trying to clarify the origin of this group.

"Are you saying that you are the Eternal who came to Earth to protect the development of human civilization, who once guided human development, and who are the Guardians protecting humanity from the Deviant?"

Nick Fury repeated what Ajak had told him. He desperately wanted to convince himself to believe it, but he simply couldn't.

What the hell is this nonsense! Nick Fury cursed inwardly. If you were truly humanity's Guardians, where were you when the Kree tried to massacre Earth? Where were you when the Avengers fought tooth and nail with the Chitauri?

Now you're suddenly popping up to say you're humanity's Guardians? Are you trying to fool three-year-olds?

As an old Agent, Nick Fury was skilled at hiding his emotions. He neither believed this group's one-sided story nor showed his disbelief.

"Yes." Ajak calmly nodded, then began to explain their purpose to Nick Fury.

"Our strongest member, Gilgamesh, is controlled by the God of Fear, so we came to help you overcome this difficulty."

Nick Fury was good at reading people. Although Ajak seemed approachable, he sensed a hint of arrogance in her words.

"How many times have you helped humanity?" Nick Fury asked.

"Many. We taught humans how to use tools, allowing them to enter agricultural civilization more quickly."

The diminutive Sprite created an illusion of them teaching humans technology, hoping to make humans believe them as they had in the past.

Phastos also spoke at this moment, "We even taught you how to use the atomic bomb."

"…"

Tony's face darkened as he listened to this, understanding even more why Eller had told him not to trust this self-proclaimed group of Eternal.

A group of hypocrites, speaking as if humanity couldn't have developed without them.

The meeting room was filled with an air of suspicion. Ikaris seemed to notice Tony's distrust and questioned him:

"Are you doubting us?"

"No, I've never believed you." Tony said nonchalantly, closing his eyes.

"How dare you!" Ikaris retorted angrily.

"Let's see who's daring!"

At that moment, three confident voices rang out in the meeting room.
