As newly born Demon Gods, their faith came from demons, not mortals, so the seven deadly sins no longer needed to be fixated on the human World.
Instead, they preferred to stay in this abyssal Hell.
Moreover, to be honest, the Sins that demons could provide them were far, far more than what humans could provide.
It should be known that a significant portion of demons were also transformed from humans in the current World.
Therefore, the souls that could enter Hell were basically all heinous individuals.
This was equivalent to purifying for the seven deadly sins!
It saved them the trouble of painstakingly searching for those deeply sinful villains; staying directly in Hell and waiting for them to come was, of course, much better.

However, since this godhead was acquired under Dane's leadership, the true holder of the godhead should actually be him.
The seven deadly sins were not the operators of the Demon God's body. The giant currently walking the land in Hell, controlling the Demon God's body, had an inner consciousness that was Dane's "demonic" side, also known as his "evil" personality.
It was formed by a part of Dane's personality combined with the collective consciousness within the Parasite Demon's cellular tissue. He had no murderous intent or malice towards anything, only an all-consuming indifference.
Everything in his eyes was meaningless; everything was his food.
Would a person have any good or bad feelings towards their food?
And now, Dane, sitting above the deep Water in meditation, was his "good" side. The seven deadly sins used their power to make this "good" side enter the meditative state of a Buddha.
They wanted to use this method to indirectly control Dane, to control the Demon God in Hell.
But Cortana knew that they had actually failed.
Because the Demon God Dane walking in Hell was not controlled by any will. He was simply hungry, wanting to devour everything in Hell.
To bring all souls and energy under himself, to become "The One."
It was just that his actions happened to align with the goals of the seven deadly sins, which gave them the illusion that they were controlling the Demon God. How ridiculous!
"You have no idea what you're doing."
Cortana said with a cold expression. This experiment was designed by her and Dane together; no one knew better than her what it truly was.
The current situation was actually within Dane's and her expectations. It was precisely because the spirits of the seven deadly sins were still free within this mental World that the final success rate was not high.
Cortana looked up at the moon ring in the sky.
Everything in the mental World had symbolic meaning. That moon ring symbolized a missing part of Dane's heart.
So Cortana's purpose in coming here was not to fight the seven deadly sins at all; that would be meaningless.
She flipped her hand, and a silver coin appeared in the center of her palm—the very one she had traded for from the Phantom Stranger.
In Cortana's palm, the silver coin emitted a dazzling silver glow, forcing the seven deadly sins to cover their eyes.
"Stop her quickly!"
lust shrieked. Hearing this, the other Sins immediately rushed towards Cortana, trying to stop her.
However, no matter how fast they were, they couldn't outpace the speed of light.
The silver light from the coin instantly erupted, and the light obliterated the forms of the seven deadly sins, leaving only a series of brief screams.
Cortana threw the silver coin, and it transformed into a brilliant White light, flying into the sky until it was level with the moon ring.
The silver coin floated in the center of the moon ring, then suddenly grew with the wind, rapidly expanding at an extreme speed, transforming into a disk that filled the moon ring.
The moment the edge of the White moon coincided with the moon ring, an intense White light radiated out, illuminating the dark mental World as bright as day!
Dane's eyelids, as he sat cross-legged, twitched slightly, showing signs of waking.
In the Real World.
Diana quickly caught up to the giant's footsteps. She flew forward and lassoed one of Dane's fingers with the Lasso of Truth.
To the giant, the Lasso of Truth was like a spider silk so fine it was barely visible to the naked eye. He noticed it but didn't pay it any mind.
Diana grabbed the Lasso of Truth and pulled herself towards the giant's shoulder, then climbed towards Dane's ear as if mountaineering.
As she climbed past the enormous auricle and entered the deep ear canal, a golden light suddenly appeared before her.
The true form of that light was Nabu, who floated before Diana in an illusory form.
Because Nabu appeared in the form of Doctor Fate, Diana's hostility was not strong.
"Diana, Daughter of Paradise Island, to awaken Dane Davis, you need one crucial thing."
He said, and a golden battle-axe appeared out of thin air, falling before Diana.
"The surface of this battle-axe is covered with Nth Metal. Strike it with your bracelets, and it will awaken Davis from his stupor."
Diana's Bracelets of Submission were artifacts made of the purest Eighth Metal.
Without much thought, Diana's intuition led her to believe Doctor Fate's words.
She had once heard Dane comment that while Doctor Fate was pedantic, he was generally a competent Super Hero and a qualified Lord of Order.
At least he truly worked hard to fight evil.
So Diana picked up the golden battle-axe, "Wake up, Dane, I need you, we all need you."
Then she forcefully struck it against her bracelets.
With a loud "ding," Doctor Fate instantly vanished. The sound wave spread inward along the giant's ear canal, quickly penetrating the eardrum and reaching the brain.
The giant stopped moving.
At the same time, in the mental World, Cortana also held Dane's face and softly said, "Wake up ~"
Dane, whose eyes were tightly shut, suddenly opened them. The mental World instantly shattered, like a dream of Brahma. When he awoke from his slumber, the entire World faced destruction.
Cortana silently disappeared, only the lingering warmth of her palm seemed to remain on Dane's face.
Dane stood up from the shattered World, raised his hands high, and stretched.

On his forehead, a vertical eye slowly opened. It was a pure blue, and the power of "good" spread from within, dispelling the darkness that shrouded Hell, leaving only that one moon ring still hanging high in the sky.
It was the eye of the Demon God. As long as the Demon God lived, the moon ring would monitor every demon remaining in Hell and judge them!
Dane used his divinity to re-seal the spirits of the seven deadly sins into the demonic eye on his forehead, suppressing them with the power of "good" and trapping them completely within that eye.
What the seven deadly sins regretted most was that they had promised Hell never to leave this place, which meant that even if they could one day leave the demonic eye, they would never be able to leave Hell for all eternity.
Dane completely severed the connection between the demons embodying the seven deadly sins and the human World! If this were the Primordial World, it would undoubtedly be a feast of merit.
The mental World shattered, and Dane reintegrated his "good" and "evil" natures, making his spirit whole and complete once again.
In the Real World, the giant opened his eyes again.
Dane, the Calamity Demon God, officially returned to his position!
He formed hand seals with his six hands, and his body rapidly shrank, returning to normal height in the blink of an eye.
But because his true form was enormous, when he reduced his size, his immense weight caused him to pierce the ground like a nail.
So Dane had to use magic again to cast a permanent "floating" spell on himself, allowing him to walk normally on the ground.
"Dane?"
Diana, who had already returned to the ground from the giant's body, stood before him. Dane heard her call, and he smiled gently at her. On his handsome, androgynous face, there was an irresistible charm.
