Dane quickly cast a confusion spell on Diana; this spell was a new one that Dane himself had improved.
As long as a person's total magic power cannot exceed Dane's, that person cannot discern the identity of the person on whom the spell has been cast, unless the spellbound person intentionally reveals their identity.
Moreover, this magic does not work on 'god-tier' beings.
Diana heard him say the magic was successful and couldn't help but drag him out to try it.
Dane asked her why she dragged him along, and she righteously replied,
"What if the spell didn't work? You'd be responsible for after-sales service! Aren't you a businessman?"
Dane chuckled, "Then why did you bring me along to go shopping for clothes with you? Didn't I give you a nano-suit?"
With the nano-suit, she could actually combine various styles of clothes according to her own wishes, so she didn't need to buy any.
But Diana just gave him a disapproving look and then made him follow her.
Along the way, the man was tall and handsome, and the woman was tall and beautiful, attracting countless glances.
Diana wondered, "Are you sure your magic worked? Why do I still feel like a lot of people are looking at me?"
"I don't think they're looking at you because they recognized your identity."
Seeing Diana was still a bit confused, Dane found her a bit cute and explained,
"They're looking at you because you're very charming, even if you're not Wonder Woman."
Diana's cheeks flushed slightly; she turned her head as if to hide it: "But I clearly saw many girls looking at you too."
Dane teased, "Maybe they don't understand how an ordinary man like me has the courage to stand by your side."
"You're not ordinary at all," Diana said softly, quietly slipping her hand into Dane's.
Dane was so considerate; he immediately clasped her hand in his.
While happy, he couldn't help but worry about his future; he should probably avoid letting Harley and her meet in the future.
Otherwise, with Harley's crazy personality, she might even dare to invite Diana to play a three-person game with her.
Recently, Poison Ivy had actually been somewhat persuaded by her, which Dane found amazing, making him feel a strange atmosphere whenever he was alone with Poison Ivy lately.
But to say he wasn't looking forward to it at all would be a lie.
Besides being a bit crazy, could Harley Quinn have other hidden skills?
Like forced persuasion or something?
Shopping and swiping cards, the payment was naturally left to Dane.
Although Diana could pay herself, in this atmosphere, wouldn't it feel a bit inappropriate to let the woman pay?
How could Dane do something so unromantic?
After shopping, Dane paid an extra tip and had the store clerk deliver the goods.
Under the envious gaze of the store clerk, Diana took Dane's hand and left.
"Oh~ Why don't I have such a good boyfriend to go shopping for clothes and bags with me?"
But thinking of Diana's looks, figure, temperament, and those long legs, the clerk still had some self-awareness.
Next, Dane and Diana acted like an ordinary couple, eating, watching movies, chatting about everyday things, life, work, and historical stories.
Dane possessed the Wisdom of Solomon and was also a well-read person, so he wouldn't let the conversation cool down.
This ordinary interaction brought the two closer; although Diana had the Amazons' natural desire for battle, it didn't mean she detested the life of ordinary people.
She simply lacked a sufficiently trustworthy and reliable person to accompany her.
And now, she felt she had found that person.
So, after drinking enough at the bar, feeling perfectly tipsy, the two got up and walked towards Diana's home.
They walked out of the bar's back door, chatting and laughing, and ran into a local specialty.
"You guys! Hand over your money, quickly!"
The bar's back door opened into an alley, but this alley was only one corner away from the main road; how could they encounter a robbery here?
Dane looked closely and found that the robbers were all young black men in their early twenties.
Their curly dreadlocks were classic; there were six of them, all wearing hoodies and baggy pants.
Dane and Diana exchanged glances, both feeling a bit speechless.
But then one of the young black men seemed to notice Diana's appearance; he grinned, showing a mouthful of white teeth.
"This chick is good; she's coming with us." Saying that, he reached out his hand, wanting to touch her face.
But his hand stopped halfway; Dane's hand had grabbed the dark hand.
The young black man tried to pull his hand away, but Dane just smiled at him.
For some reason, the young black man suddenly felt a chill and shivered.
When he reacted, he was furious; 'I have a gun, damn it, why don't you respect me at all?'
To maintain his dignity in front of his subordinates, the young black man raised his gun and fired.
The firing pin recoiled, and the bullet slowly left the muzzle in Dane's eyes.
Dane raised his hand, pinching the bullet with his index finger and thumb.
The brass bullet deformed under the pressure of his two fingers, stopping at his fingertips.
The six old black men's eyes almost popped out, and the young black man who fired the gun was utterly terrified.
Just as he was about to beg for mercy, there was a 'crack'.
Dane directly crushed his hand bone, and before he could scream, Dane grabbed the other hand of the little black guy and gently squeezed it as well.
It felt as if he wasn't crushing a hand bone, but a cookie.
At this point, the little black guy, whose hands were crippled, screamed to the sky. Dane, annoyed by the noise, pointed a finger and stole his voice.
The remaining little black guys, seeing him look their way, immediately dropped their guns, raised their hands, and lay face down on the ground.
Their movements were so practiced it was heartbreaking.
"What do you think we should do with them?"
Dane turned to ask Diana. He didn't really care much about these thugs; it was just the little black guy who had tried to grope him that annoyed him.
Diana just smiled at him, "Just punish them a little, don't kill anyone, it's not worth it."
Dane readily agreed. He pointed a finger, magically castrating a few of them, and then stopped.
The 'things' were still there, but besides excretion, they had no other use.
For a man, there was probably nothing more heartbreaking than losing that kind of pleasure, right?
This eased his annoyed mood slightly.
Diana took his hand again and led him out of the alley.
"Want to come to my place for a bit?"
Sit or 'do'?
Dane felt that practice leads to true knowledge, and to figure out which 'zu' it was, he walked into Diana's house.
"I'm going to take a shower first, will you wait for me for a bit?"
They were both divine bodies, so not showering was actually fine.
But Dane understood this little thought of women, so he agreed to everything.
Before long, the sound of water, inspiring endless thoughts, echoed from the bathroom.
Dane casually walked around, observing everything in her house.
On a table, he found the photo Diana had taken during World War I.
To be honest, this photo wasn't very good. Not only was Wonder Woman's appearance a bit distorted, but it also felt like her figure had gotten much fatter.
He just looked at Steve Trevor in the photo, a bit unsure of his relationship with Diana.
If it were in the movies, they should be considered lovers.
But this wasn't entirely a movie Universe; it always felt like every story in this Universe was mixed with something.
And in some DC stories, Diana and Steve were just pure comrades-in-arms, with no romantic relationship.
Just then, Dane heard a door open behind him. He turned around and was stunned.
Friends, have you seen 'Titanic'?
If you have, then you must know the scene where Jack draws Rose in the unedited footage.
Dane now only needed a paintbrush and a piece of paper to transform into Jack; he had never seen such a perfect body.
"So~ are you just going to stand there and watch, or are you coming with me?"
With a magical flash, Dane stripped himself naked, embraced his "Rose," and entered the room.
The power of the divine body once again showed its might. As demigods, whether Diana, the Goddess, or Shazam, the God, was stronger had always been a hot topic of discussion online.
Now the controversy was over. In one round, they fought for almost two hours.
After the length of a movie, it finally ended with Dane's victory.
But the competitive Amazon was not convinced. Diana turned to look at him, "Do you dare to fight me with your own strength?"
"Why not? But not here!" Dane said, and with a snap of his fingers, he transferred their battlefield to the Rock of Eternity.
Joan seemed to hear something and cautiously looked towards Dane's room, finding the light on.
Dane was back? She was a little curious, and a little happy.
Dane softly said "Shazam," and transformed back into an 18-year-old fresh face. Diana was greatly surprised.
This was more than just an old cow eating young grass; she had directly eaten the newly sprouted seedling!
But this was very exciting! The first time was with such a young fresh face... "Now, Round Two?" Dane smiled brightly at her, full of youthful vigor.
This made Diana feel both fresh and a little ashamed. She pulled the covers over herself, hiding inside.
Dane leaped in, and Round Two began.
Joan stood outside the door, listening, her face flushed... soft...
