"When are we going to get married?" Arthur stared at Clara intently.
"Still asking?" Clara teased. "What guarantee do I have you want to marry me, Mr. Arthur?"
"Haven't you already gotten it... from my grandfather?"
Clara smiled bitterly. A thin line appeared on her face, a mixture of annoyance, as if the man in front of her was deliberately trying to provoke an argument with her.
"Can I borrow your phone?" Clara asked with a suspicious smile.
"What for?" Arthur looked at her cynically.
"Wouldn't it be better if we were honest with each other before getting married... let's just say this is to build trust."
"Build trust? Do you trust me?" the man snorted.
"If I didn't trust you, why would I want to marry you, Arthur Volkskrant?"
"Huh, so you... what!!!! What did you just say?" Arthur was so shocked that his mouth fell open.
Clara said casually, "Yes, I want to marry you! But with one condition!"
