*( in the train)*
The train's speed increased as a long silence followed Asta's comment. The two stared at each other as the weight of the situation slowly sinks in.
Sylus was the first to break the silence
" what!!". " what do you mean by supposed to kill him, what do you mean by I will die "
Asta gave a blank expression.
" Say something, what's all this about "
" it's also a long story " he sighed
" Good and you better start talking, cause I want answers " a worried Sylus said.
" You know how powerful he is, his physical strength is the same as ours but with the time control abilities he is almost invincible .
Long ago, after the sins were formed, Asha knew he would be a problem yet trusted him but he used his powers to his advantage alone.
He tried to build an empire, Asha was against it and warned him, he didn't listen, he had people who worshipped him, he even taught them how to control time and all, it was against Asha's wishes .
Then he started his attack, mostly on other smaller nations but faced Asha for it and still didn't change. Basically he was ruling himself ,that's when he did the worst mistakes of his life, he attacked Asha thinking that with his ability he can reverse anything she does and finish her off."
" was he not under Lady Asha's control, what was he thinking " Sylus asked.
" I wish I knew, I think it's the reason why we have limites and yeah he was but not one hundred percent under her control, it was only fifty the other fifty was from the pillar of time so he had most control of himself."
" did he win" Sylus questioned .
" no he did not if he did she wouldn't be alive now" he answered.
" how did it turn out "
" Asha was fighting not to win but to teach him common sense, she was pretty mad not because of the attack but because of how dumb he was to actually plan an assassination on her.
It was one of the wildest fights in history, in the middle of it ,she realized he wasn't listening so she erased time completely from existence, the pillar disappeared and no one had a concept of what time was, no one even knew there was something called time like it never existed in the first place.
Yeah she can do that , I was surprised too. since that was his power and no longer exist he became completely powerless
Whiteout time the world fell into chaos, the moons and sun didn't know when to rise and set, the seasons didn't know when to change, people because confused as to when things are to be done.
The days blended together with nights, seasons because one at the same time sending everything into pure chaos, it wasn't long before the planet fades into dust because the land didn't know how long it's supposed to sustain life.
Asha pulled him into a void with a vast space after he realized the thing he has been playing with was one of the important factors to keep the world running,
Asha told him it's was only a matter of time before this happened if he had continued with what he was doing.
After coming to his senses he didn't want to use his powers anymore and rejected it, she reversed the damage on the planet, it's was like a moment of realization for Damien
After all that, my greediness kick in, he wasn't serving Asha after the fight,I approached her about wanting to finish him off for good after all, he isn't fully a sin.
After a lot of persuasions by all seven of us she agreed, mostly because she feared he would go back in time and stop himself from having that fight thos stopping the lesson he learned.
We plan to kill him and share his power but my greed made me absorbed him to myself, I seeked Asha's help mainly because he was protesting against it.
I may have lied a little she sealed him inside me permanently to stop the damage I was getting. Obviously that was a lie, I was perfectly fine I needed the seal to later on tell the others it was Asha's idea to let me have him. I'm not proud of it if you ask because the seal prevented me from assessing his powers.
she probably wrote how to break the seal in the book you read."
" the Sin Bound Chronicles " Sylus spoke.
" yeah "
" so why will I die if I want to go to Albatrou "
" long story short you tamed two sins in one and absorbing both of us will destroy your soul, no one has even been able to, that's just too much power for a human soul.
The worst part, you need both of us to go to Albatrou because it has always the both of us you absorb, it's can't be one the energy won't be enough to take you there and it's can't be both the energy is enough to kill you"Asta said.
" what!! but wasn't it the same before "
" we use to be one that's why nothing happens to you but now we are two bodies you can absorb us together but it's at the risk of your life, human are not like any of the people in Albatrou, your souls are mostly weak and one sin is enough."
" why didn't you tell me this before " Sylus started to panic. " where is he " .
" that's the problem, he is on the loose in this world if it was Albatrou I could freely hunt him down in my seveth form then I have a higher chance at getting him but no it here on earth where people think our kind are in books and what they call movies, if we don't find him by the end of the day Asha will have to be involved "
" I can imagine what people will say if they suddenly see a giant demon tiger on the road, don't get me started with the police and scientists "
The train came to a stop, Asta got into his cat size and followed a troubled Sylus out side, the two walked the rest of the way home
" we have to find him somehow, but where , this world is big where are we going to start "
" release, I can scean him close by" Asta assured much to Sylus's surprise
Sylus got home still not sure of how everything even started, he was going to school the next thing there is another sin under his control and lost somewhere in the world.
He got to his front gate and stopped, it was opened.
" Sylus, .....
he's here " Asta warned
As soon as they entered inside the entire atmosphere changed, the room was dark although it's not evening yet and the sound of a ticking clock was heared growing louder, a soft humm came from the living room.
" it's him, he's here. I'm sure that's him " Asta whispered.
They doth made their way to the living room and as expected;
A guy dressed in a butler's uniform sat released and cross legged on the central of the sofa humming songs like he belonged there, his uniform was neat and straightened, his head rests backwards on top of the sofa hiding his face, he has a pocket clock strap to a chain carefully embedded in his coat making sure the clock dangles from the chains, it was ticking louder than usual.
His polished shoes and white gloves gives off the aura of a well-behaved man,
"Damien ? " Sylus called out.
He slowly lifted his head to face them and as expected there was a gray silk covering his eye tied behind.
His long deep blue hair was tied in a messy men's band with stripes falling down his face.
He gave them a warm smile that made the room glow in a strange yet pleasant aura .
