"Can I see you in private?" Liam asked.
"Yeah, sure. I'm coming, guys," Hazel said, turning to Dior and Vorden.
They nodded as Liam opened the car door for her. She stepped in, and he followed, shutting the door behind them.
"So… what did you want to talk about?" Hazel asked, looking at him.
"I'll be going on a business trip for two weeks," Liam said calmly.
Hazel blinked. "Two weeks? Isn't that long?"
Liam smirked slightly. "Are you going to miss me already? If you don't want me to go, I won't."
She rolled her eyes lightly. "Go, please. I'm not stopping you. It's your business. So… where are you going?"
"New York."
"Okay… good luck on your trip."
He leaned back slightly, watching her. "Don't worry. When I get back, I'll come to you first."
Hazel immediately shook her head. "No, don't do that. Please don't kidnap me again."
He chuckled softly. "Hmm… I can't promise that."
She sighed. "Of course you can't."
"I'll be going now. They're probably waiting for me."
Liam leaned closer, intending to kiss her—but Hazel quickly turned her face away.
He frowned slightly. "What's wrong?"
"I'm sorry, it's just—" she started, biting her lower lip nervously.
Liam's expression darkened a little as he ran his hand through his hair. "You should stop biting your lip like that… do you know how tempting it is?"
Hazel blushed at his words, noticing the shift in his tone.
Without thinking, she grabbed his shirt and pulled him closer, pressing her lips against his.
For a moment, Liam froze—then he responded immediately, deepening the kiss. His hand slid to her back, pulling her closer as warmth spread wherever he touched.
Hazel's heart raced.
After a few seconds, she pulled away slightly, breathless. "I have to go… they're waiting for me."
"I'm not done yet," Liam said softly, leaning in again.
He kissed her once more, his touch lingering, making it harder for her to think straight.
Hazel quickly pushed him back this time. "We're inside the car…"
"I don't care," he replied, his voice low.
"But they're still waiting for me," she insisted, trying to steady herself.
Liam paused, then finally let out a quiet sigh, pulling back.
"Fine."
Hazel quickly pecked his lips before opening the door and stepping out. Without looking back, she hurried to Vorden's car and got in.
They drove off.
Vorden drove them back to their dormitory.
"Bye, girls," he said.
"Bye! Thanks for today," Hazel replied.
"You're welcome. But one more thing—you're choosing what we wear next time."
Hazel smiled. "That's fine by me… if Dior agrees."
Dior crossed her arms dramatically. "Hazel, you don't have fashion sense… but since you're willing, I'll let you choose—just this once."
"Thanks," Hazel said happily.
Then Dior suddenly turned to Vorden. "And by the way… I'm not feeding Mr. Golden today."
Vorden froze. "What?! You can't be serious! I didn't do anything wrong! I've done everything you asked—I even dumped the cheerleader leader! What more do you want?"
Hazel burst out laughing.
During their last visit to Vorden's place for his cooking show, Dior had secretly gone into his room and kidnapped his goldfish as punishment for not listening to her earlier.
"Dior… you kidnapped Mr. Golden?" Hazel said, trying not to laugh.
