Chapter 50 - Bee.

Listening to some music usually helps me calm my mind whenever I overdo it at parties, but they're just a riot.

Sitting on my giant plush duck that Lucy gifted me on my birthday was quite a nice change of pace from the constant partying I'm always doing. Wish Bell would let me use her drugs though — that would have made things way more fun.

But it's her stash, and I can't really steal it since I'd have to deal with her nonsensical rambling for hours. She's lucky she's so cute.

While looking up at my ceiling, I thought of the different things I could do while I waited for the next party. Or maybe I should just host my own party again.

As I thought about it more, a letter appeared on my table. Getting up and walking towards it, I saw it had Lucy's crest. Opening it up, small fireworks appeared along with a letter.

"Dear Bee, this is Lucifer, and I would like to cordially invite you to my son's 150th birthday party here in the castle. I know you're probably busy with all your partying, but it would be nice for you to come visit for my son's birthday. Love, Lucifer. P.S. Don't bring any drugs."

The letter disappeared, and in its place was a rubber duck.

Well, it's about time he invited me to one of his parties — even if it is a birthday party, it's still a party nonetheless. I haven't seen Stygian in quite a while; last I saw him was during Satan's trial, where he stabbed him in the eye.

Well, I had nothing better to do today. Might as well go over there and see the little guy — see how he's grown.

Fixing myself up, I got my fanciest dress for the occasion and opened up a portal. Stepping through, I was greeted by the castle guards, and they led me towards the party. From there, I saw hundreds of demons of all shapes — even spotting an imp family with what I assumed was their whole family. They were talking with Charlie and laughing about something.

I was going to approach her but was suddenly stopped by Lilith.

"Bee! I'm so glad you made it, dear," Lilith said, giving me a kiss on the cheeks with her own cheeks.

"Of course! When Lucy gave me the invite, I just had to come over," I said to Lilith.

"Oh my! That dress — it's quite beautiful."

"Yeah, had to dress up for the occasion, you know."

"Well, at least you, Azzy, and Levy decided to change clothes. The others…" She pointed toward a general direction.

Looking over, I saw Bell sleeping on a couch, Mammon gorging himself on food, and Satan… beating up one of the guests.

I sighed and looked at Lilith straight in the eye… and we just laughed.

"Go over to Charlie; she'll tell you what's next," Lilith said before walking away.

Walking over to Charlie, who had just said goodbye to the last of the imps, I greeted her by giving her a giant hug.

"Hey, Aunt Bee! You made it!" Charlie hugged me back, and when we finally let go, we got to speak.

"So, where's your brother? Thought the birthday boy would be here at his own party?" I asked Charlie.

"Oh, he's preparing. You'll see," she said with a small blush on her face.

Okay, weird — but I guess he's planning something big. Well, might as well chat with Charlie while we wait.

"So, Charlie, who were those imps? Seems to me you were chatting up a storm."

This seemed to snap Charlie out of her daze.

"Oh, that was Maylin's family. My brother saved them when he was younger, and we were just talking about some… things," she said, her face turning a bit red.

"Alright, well, if you find anything juicy, make sure to—" I was interrupted when Lucifer spoke.

"Ladies and gentlemen! The man of the hour is here — presenting my baby boy!" Lucifer said, raising his glass toward a set of stairs.

He finally decided to show up, huh.

From the stairs, a tall figure slowly walked down. He wore white robes and had a crest on his neck holding it together. His wings sparkled in the light — it had a serene feeling to it.

Was that the word? I couldn't think straight. As he walked down the stairs, he was being supported by Lilith, who had a gentle smile on her face, and before I knew it, he was standing in front of me.

"Greetings, my lady."

I felt blood rush toward my head, and before I knew it, I was on the ground.
