After finishing her dinner, Victoria decided to go see Tristan in his office. Perhaps if she persuaded him to have dinner, he would listen to her.
Knock knock
"Honey? Tristan honey, are you busy?" she asked, but there was no answer from inside the room.
Even after waiting for several minutes, there was still no answer. Victoria tried the door handle and found that it was unlocked. The maid had said that the door was locked from the inside.
She tried to think positively, that maybe Tristan had just come back from the bathroom and hadn't locked the door again. Seeing this opportunity, she walked into the room, which was very quiet. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Tristan sleeping on the sofa.
"You could have slept in our room, but you chose to sleep here instead," she said softly, then sat down on the sofa next to him and gently stroked his head.
