Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 Acceptance

"system, doesn't this mean I suck? It's like playing a hero no one wants, from my stats I can tell this guy was trying to escape often what are the fear points for?", I asked although considering the web novels I read, I had a slight suspicion.

[Fear points are used to increase their qualities or to increase the level or to buy in the store when the host reaches level 4].

"What's the difference?", I asked immediately. I won't deny that it all sounded like a game, but if I didn't wake up soon it was my turn to accept reality. I looked down at my hand was still wet from the fluids of the sensual woman who escaped the fun. I took some sheets of paper that were blank, and wiped my hand.

[1. The host can allocate all his points to a specific quality he wants]

[2. By purchasing level 2, all qualities will increase by +5]

[3. The store of terror offers a variety of products that will make the host's life easier]

I waited a bit so I asked the system:

"Why are you hiding things from me? A while ago I made a request to you and you answered me What kind of benefit is that and what is its cost?"

[4. Identification of living or supernatural beings: the cost varies depending on the level or category]

"What madness" I lie down on the uncomfortable bed, after looking at the wooden ceiling covered with dust and cobwebs, I ask:

"System, you didn't kill me to bring me here did you?"

[No, dear host]

"Then what happened to me?"

[Host needs to raise his level to get answers].

"Put 5 points in strength and two in agility."

[Strength: went up from 2 to 7]

[Agility: went up from 4 to 6]

I considered it best for the time being. Because being so physically weak, it would just make it hard for me to defend myself. Not my case, but I saw many weak individuals fighting end up in the hospital, although the truth is that that was better than the fate of errand boys, as was apparently the case with this guy.

A few minutes later I tried to sleep, it was impossible, the bed was not cooperating, although it was the least of it, what most prevented me from sleeping were my own thoughts, I had not yet finished assimilating what was happening to me.

"A transmigration?", I still joked thinking that I would wake up at any moment, but it was not the case. I closed my eyes and memories of this body came to my mind.

Apparently the original owner of the body I now possessed was an orphan who lost his family when a monster attacked the building in which he lived with his father, mother, and sister. He alone survived and was sent to an orphanage where he was despised mostly because of his beautiful appearance.

I got up and looked for a mirror, there was nothing like it, I was curious to know what my appearance would be like, most likely handsome but thin and fragile looking, that is, the original was someone who not having power or money was only a victim of his own appearance which was the target of envy of insecure bastards.

I can't let that happen to me, it didn't happen to me before I transmigrated, I won't let it happen now.

According to this individual's memories I must be 19 years old and I am in the first year of the Scarlet Institute. This institute is a kind of university for hunters of monsters and supernatural beings.

Currently there are only 10 known cities, the rest of the territory of the Belgem Continent remains unexplored since the calamity.

Apparently in this world appeared mysterious doors that gave way to beings of different natures and dangerousness, it was when everything was in chaos and the major powers had already fallen, that the first hunters appeared, which were humans who awakened a mysterious power capable of giving them supernatural powers, only then humans survived, and the most powerful hunters created the 10 known cities.

According to the memories of the original owner of this body, only by becoming a hunter can you have a dignified life, and the powers obtained as a hunter enhance innate abilities and increase longevity. But it is not free, a professional hunter must patrol the outside of the city in days of three months of work and one month of rest, apparently it is a very dangerous job, with which security is guaranteed in the 10 known cities.

The original owner believed that it should be a job in which monsters are repelled.

In addition, every week several students must go outside to a D-range area around the city walls to change the sensors that collect data on the monsters that roam the area.

Apparently the only group that accepted me was these assholes led by Ivan, "so that's what the report that bitch was talking about".

"System besides scaring how can I get fear points?"

[Killing monsters, supernatural beings or humans].

"How convenient", after thinking about it I couldn't help but smile. But the tragic thing was that the original owner wanted to be a spirit summoner, he aspired to become one of the most privileged types of hunters, he was weak but ambitious. Apparently, he wanted that too, because currently summoners were one of the most powerful professions a hunter could aspire to.

I was going to keep digging into the memories of the original owner, but my head started to hurt. I turned my head towards the window and the morning light was faintly piercing the green curtain.

I got up, as I wanted to get out of the room before that asshole Ivan came to my door asking for a report I didn't have. I looked at my clothes, I was wearing a tank top, and shorts, then I assessed the condition of my body, I was slim but a bit defined, "it must be thanks to the points I added to the strength quality", I thought, at the same time I opened a suitcase and inside there were a lot of old and ugly clothes, all the clothes were light or pastel colors.

I put on a white short sleeve sweater, and gray pants, stored the pen in my pants pocket, and after verifying that there was nothing that was useful to me, I left my room.

Outside, the corridors were quite gloomy and there were dozens of doors on one side of the corridor and dozens on the other.

There was so little distance between each door that I could only think that I was in the corridors of the wretched who suffered from overcrowding due to our weakness, in my case it was a physical weakness.

I made my way to the bathroom at the end of the hallway, it was an unhygienic place, washed my hands and went out to tour the Scarlet Institute.
