Iris:
"Iris, come outside. I need to speak with you," he sent me a voice note again.
I adjusted my sweater because it was cold outside.
It was early morning. The sun had not risen yet.
The darkness still lingered. I tucked my kids in properly before opening the door and stepping out of the room.
Kash was not in the living room. I heard Lara was still in the hospital.
I wondered if she was alright. I remembered Kash was about to reject her before she passed out.
Or maybe she pretended. I could not expect anything less from her.
When I reached the main gate, I noticed it was open.
Kash was definitely in the garden, waiting for me like he said.
I stepped into the cold air and looked up at the dark clouds filling the sky.
Thunder rumbled.
A strong wind swept through the garden.
He was pacing in a casual black suit, as if he had not changed all night.
Or maybe he had just woken up early.
"What is it?" I called from a distance, rubbing my hands together.
