S1-Ep2 process of rebirth
"What's going on?" I say, looking around at my surroundings, unable to process what's going on, "Why hello there, Little human!" Says a tiny fairy with dark pink hair and skull earrings, "What happened? Where am I? What happened to me?!" I say in a panic, "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! calm down, you're dead, nothing to be freaking out about anymore."
She says with a confused turning her head like a confused puppy, yet wearing a sly grin "what do you mean I'm dead what are you talking about" I say still furrowing my brow in confusion and anger "okay dude you died from being hit by a giant truck smashing you into mush I don't know what else you want me to say"
She says, pressing her temple in frustration, "Wha-what I died from something like that, tell me you're joking! And if I was, how am I having this conversation with you, and what the hell even are you?" I say fearfully pulling my body away like she was infected with a brain-eating virus
"Why would I joke about something like that? Of course, you're dead, and right now you're in the 'waiting room,' well, that's what a lot of people call it. The reason you're able to talk to me is because I'm talking to your spirit; your physical body is still down there."
she says point at the floor now becoming clear showing my mother crying and grieving from the accident at the hospital why my brother in-law comforts both my mother and sister from my gruesome death "what the hell" I say covering my mouth in a low whisper "well you still didn't answer what or who you are" I say now nervous "Heh well I'm the demon fairy of course! *She giggles* Well, I don't just deal with death, I do other stuff too, but that's what I mostly do."
She says, still giggling as awkward silence follows soon after, "So is this where I'm going to be for eternity or something? You said this was called the waiting room, so I'm expecting something else, or am I wrong?" I say confused "oh no... no! no! No! You won't be here for eternity.
You'll be leaving very soon for another place. Apparently, you weren't supposed to be here at all. The reason why you died so young, we didn't notice anything until you turned 27, sorry, but now we're here to correct that!" She says, surprised by my question, "Wait, where am I going then? Are you saying I can become a fairy thing like you?"
I say, wanting her to agree, "WHAT?! I said nothing of the sort. What are you even talking about? Don't put any kind of words like that inside my mouth! You got me!!" She says changing her whole demeanor causes her face to distort into some kind of demon, causing me to stiffen in shock and fear, "NOW! What else do you have for me to answer?"
She says, switching her demeanor into a gentle, kind appearance, "Oh... well… I wanted to know what I'd be turning into, like what kind of person I would be?" I say nervously, "Huh, what do you mean by that?" She says innocently, "You know what kind of person I will be like, will I be handsome, tall, and rich, or will I be an ugly troll, will the world I be reborn into be fantasy and magic, or would it be something like I've already been too?"
I say excitedly yet calmly, "OHHH YEAHH! I forgot to tell you! He's an abusive and neglectful father of four married to a weak fragile woman in TONS OF DEBT and everyone where he lives hates him" she says with a childlike wonder, stretching out her arms to show how much debt you're in "Oh" I say making a dull expression
"But at least you can fix that person's mistakes. I know you like that, don't you? You little control freak," she says in a I know what you did type of tone and expression. "Wait, what the hell, how do you-" she cuts him off, "well, we should get going, let's go," she says, grabbing my arm. "Wait, you're coming with me," she yanks my arm, pulling us both inside the glowing portal, sucking us inside.
