Peter's eyes narrowed.
He actually sensed a hint of hostility from Spider-Gwen!
Miles had mentioned his past collaboration with them, but it seemed to have increased her animosity instead.
But where did this hostility come from?
Peter couldn't figure it out.
Peter decided to stay hidden for the time being and observe.
Spider-Gwen said, "Miles, I've joined a Spider-Verse Alliance."
"Spider-Verse Alliance?" Miles asked in surprise, "You mean, the one with all the best Spider-Men?"
"Yes, the one with all the best Spider-Men," Spider-Gwen smiled.
"Tell me, can I join?" Miles asked excitedly.
"Of course," Spider-Gwen said. "The Spider-Verse Alliance is led by Miguel O'Hara, everyone trusts him. I also met a woman there, Jess Drew, she rides a motorcycle."
"Motorcycle? That's so cool!" Miles exclaimed, like an inquisitive child.
"Yeah, I learned a lot from her!" Spider-Gwen said.
"Oh yeah, I've learned a lot recently too, you could say I've been completely upgraded, I'll show you sometime," Miles boasted a little.
"Alright," Spider-Gwen said, "But, I'm actually a little curious, when will Venom be back?"
"He should be back soon, he went to personally check out a few routes I found. Actually, I'd say I've already checked them all, this one is the closest, and this one is the easiest, see, I've marked them all. He's being redundant!" At this moment, Miles was like a flamboyant peacock, trying to spread his screen behind him, trying to attract the attention of the female.
And his target was obviously Spider-Gwen.
