"Who's that!"
Seeing a giant meteor with a diameter of over fifty meters about to smash onto his head, Peter suddenly woke up from his dream.
He then realized that he was still on the plane flying back to New York from Los Angeles.
He quickly realized that he had just had another "premonition dream"!
Just like when he previously predicted the approach of the Dark Dimension. He later received confirmation from Strange that the Dark Dimension and its ruler, Dormammu, had indeed descended near the real dimension. It was Strange who used some method to persuade them to retreat, thus preventing the real dimension from being invaded by the Dark Dimension.
This proved that his premonition dreams were indeed real!
In other words, the scene he had just "seen" was very likely something that would happen in the near future.
Thinking of this, Peter was startled.
He instinctively thought that this future battle would take place on Earth!
Thinking of the sky full of fire rain and countless meteorites of all sizes falling, Peter felt a chill in his heart.
A meteorite with a diameter of about 60 meters, if it were to fall from space and directly hit the ground, would generate a force exceeding the equivalent of a 10 million-ton TNT explosion. It could overturn the land and knock down all the trees within at least 2,000 square kilometers!
Some might say that a 60-meter diameter meteorite might not have much left after burning through the atmosphere.
But the meteorite Peter saw in his premonition, which landed right on his head, was definitely over fifty meters in diameter! And ones that were similar, even larger than that, were also plentiful!
Furthermore, many meteorites that enter the Earth's atmosphere are composed of half metal minerals and rock, and the other half is ice—because the temperature in many parts of space is extremely low, it's not surprising that some parts are frozen. These frozen "ice blocks" are not entirely composed of water.
And it is these "ice blocks" that are rubbed off in the atmosphere.
But what Peter saw in his dream was completely different.
They were all solid meteorites! The kinetic energy released when they hit the ground was also completely real!
Tens of millions of meteorites, if they were to fall on Earth... The Earth itself might be fine, but the humans on Earth, and even all life, could be annihilated!
"No, this absolutely cannot happen!"
Peter clenched his fists in frustration.
Thinking this, Peter dialed Stark's number.
However, the call wasn't answered immediately; he was probably busy with something else.
So, Peter turned to Friday instead.
Friday had cut off contact when Peter came to see Scott, but Friday had a way to contact it.
Peter could call its phone.
This time, the call connected quickly.
Clearly, Friday hadn't been wasting time surfing the web.
Peter told Friday about his premonitory dream, along with his concerns about it.
Friday had a danger assessment system given to it by Stark.
This system was connected to major intelligence agencies, police departments, and the like.
If it was just some small matter that didn't reach the assessment level, it would be filtered out, allowing them to handle it themselves, or notifying others similarly equipped to deal with it.
But if it reached an assessment level, it would be filtered out and submitted to Tony Stark.
After that, Tony Stark would decide whether the Avengers should be deployed.
It was obvious that the scene Peter described had completely reached the "Avengers level."
Friday quickly contacted Tony Stark.
Stark, who was attending an important high-level meeting of the Stark Group, immediately stopped what he was doing and called Peter after learning about it.
Although Peter's method of obtaining ethereal "prophecies" through "premonitory dreams" was a bit ridiculous in this day and age, especially for a staunch materialist like Tony Stark.
However, Peter's reliable image had been deeply ingrained in Stark's mind, and he knew that Peter would never be talking nonsense.
Moreover, Peter had also told him about his previous verification of his Spider-Sense's precognitive ability with Strange.
"Peter, I will use all resources to find people related to the images in your premonitory dream," Stark quickly made a decision, "You, go find that mage named Strange. Since he was also there, let him also search from the perspective of the occult."
"Okay!" Peter agreed.
In fact, even if Stark didn't say it, he had decided to go find Strange as soon as he returned to New York.
After getting off the plane, Peter ran all the way, and at his full speed, he was even a few notches faster than an ordinary car.
Soon after, Peter arrived at the Sanctum Sanctorum at 117A Bleecker Street.
Clap!
The door of the Sanctum Sanctorum opened automatically.
Strange, wearing his cloak and holding a teacup, slowly descended from the sky in his usual flamboyant manner.
"It's been a while, hasn't it? What, has the mathematical genius finally learned Astral Projection?" Strange began with a taunt.
Peter rolled his eyes.
When he was learning magic from Strange, he would often have sudden inspirations, using his knowledge of mathematics and physics to decipher the spells.
Sometimes, he actually succeeded.
As a result, Peter didn't learn a single spell, but he did research quite a few methods of deciphering them.
This once made Strange doubt his life, he strongly suspected that Peter was just bored and came to make fun of him.
Because of this, he and Peter couldn't help but bicker whenever they met.
Peter would say that Strange's magic couldn't compare to mathematics, while Strange would retort that no matter how well one studied physics and chemistry, there would always be some spells that couldn't be explained by the things of this material world.
The two often engaged in debates about this.
But this time, Peter didn't have time to argue with him.
"Stephen, I think we might be in big trouble!"
Strange looked at Peter's solemn expression, frowned, and dropped the smile on his face. He said seriously, "Let's talk in my study."
"Yeah," Peter nodded, controlling his body's reactions.
Whoosh! A portal swept over the two of them, and they both appeared in Strange's study.
Peter walked to the desk, picked up the paper and pen, and began to quickly recall the appearances of the people who appeared in the precognitive dream, drawing all of them except himself, Stark, and Strange.
Strange walked to his side, watching his actions with curiosity.
As Peter's hand moved quickly, a figure appeared on the paper one by one.
Strange looked at the figures on the paper and frowned.
After a long while, he finally uttered with difficulty, "Did you learn to draw... in kindergarten?"
Peter: ?
