The two walked silently through the forest, Serena occasionally stopping to harvest different vegetables and herbs. As she harvested them, Serena would hand the plant over to Theo to put in her basket which he was carrying.
However, the tiger beastman would always stiff the plant beforehand, taking note of what it looked and smelt like. Especially the herbs. That way he could easily harvest any he came across while out hunting.
They would sometimes pass by rabbit beastmen out foraging by Serena purposely went deeper into the forest than normal, using this chance to work on that exploration mission of hers.
However, Theo soon noticed that they were heading quite deep into the forest and remarked, "Is this how far you normally go?"
"Not usually…" Seerena answered honestly, handing him the herb she just harvested before straightening up. "But I thought I'd take the chance today since you're around. After all, you can easily handle any problems we might face."
