Chapter 13: I've come clean, no more pretending!
Seeing Sherlock's incredibly arrogant and death-seeking demeanor, Tony, even after turning into a woman, couldn't suppress his anger. He jumped up, ready to fight Sherlock to the death.
Sherlock, of course, wasn't fazed in the slightest. What a joke! Would a dignified wizard like him be afraid of a muggle woman who couldn't even use magic?
Naturally, he began to mock without restraint. After a barrage of words, a man and a former man were on the verge of an all-out brawl.
Pepper expended a great deal of effort to calm the two down, so they could sit on the sofa and talk calmly, looking for a solution.
Although he was the one who provided the potion, Sherlock had no solution for such a debuff. So, when Tony agreed to many of Sherlock's unequal terms and demanded that Sherlock change him back,
Sherlock merely spread his hands, indicating he was helpless, and even suggested that Tony could experience the joy of being a woman.
This angered Tony so much that he immediately stood up and rolled up his sleeves, ready to show Sherlock how red flowers truly are.
It was fortunate that Tony hadn't yet finished his Mark II armor; otherwise, Tony would have definitely put on the armor and given Sherlock a good workout.
Fortunately, under Pepper's intimidating gaze, the two men finally settled down. Ultimately, under the stern authority of Aunt Pepper, Sherlock revealed the truth.
"Alright, alright, don't be angry. The potion I gave Auntie Nini was made by me, but this potion isn't recognized by this World, or rather, it's an existence excluded by the Universe.
When the magic takes effect, there will be a completely random side effect with a duration of 24 hours. Even I, the potion maker, have no way to deal with this side effect."
Sherlock could only bite the bullet and take responsibility for the potion, explaining it to the two.
However, it was clear that while Pepper listened to his explanation, Tony's attention was entirely focused on Sherlock's use of 'Nini'.
"You little brat, try calling me Nini again! I'm your Uncle Tony Stark!!!"
Although Tony appeared to be baring his fangs, Pepper and Sherlock clearly didn't want to bother with Tony. Pepper even thought the nickname 'Nini' suited Tony's current appearance well.
Tony calmed down for a while before temporarily suppressing his anger and began to inquire about Sherlock's situation, constantly asking Sherlock about the potion's ingredients and why he would create such a potion.
Sherlock was stumped by Tony's questions. Sherlock couldn't think of any way to explain it to Tony, the smartest person in this World, without revealing his library.
After much thought, Sherlock could only throw caution to the wind and declared that he was done pretending, he was coming clean: he was a wizard! And these muggles would never understand the greatness of magic.
Neither Pepper nor Tony believed Sherlock's claims. Left with no choice, Sherlock had to pull out his wand and demonstrate magic to these two muggles.
Tony and Pepper watched, almost dumbfounded, as Sherlock, sitting on the sofa, casually flipped his hand, and an unusually ugly small wooden stick appeared in his grip.
Then, with a mere flick of the small wooden stick, the cup on the table floated into mid-air, circling around Sherlock under his control.
With another gentle wave of the small wooden stick, the originally exquisite water cup transformed into several crystal daggers, shimmering with colorful light under the illumination of the lamp.
Accompanying a point of the wand, several crystal daggers shot out fiercely, directly shattering the balcony glass and flying outdoors.
Sherlock even demonstrated Transfiguration to Pepper and Tony after recalling those crystal daggers.
Finally, Tony, who had believed in science his entire life, looked at Pepper riding a unicorn and the freshly repaired balcony glass by Sherlock, feeling his worldview had been shattered.
As for Pepper herself, she was already immersed in the unicorn that Sherlock had conjured from a chair. No woman could resist the charm of a unicorn, not even Pepper.
Tony, whose worldview had been reshaped, only paused for a short while before returning to his original self, or rather, becoming even more excited.
Like a mad scientist who had discovered a new continent, he unceremoniously dragged Sherlock towards his laboratory, attempting to explain magic through science.
With Jarvis's assistance, Tony continuously demanded Sherlock to use various kinds of magic. After a while, when Sherlock felt his magic was almost depleted, Tony still hadn't figured anything out.
However, Jarvis, with the help of various instruments, finally came to a conclusion: Sherlock's magic was less like magic and more like an ability to change rules.
Taking the simplest Wingardium Leviosa as an example, the Wingardium Leviosa that Sherlock cast on an object did not change any of the object's physical properties; gravity, mass, and density remained unchanged.
Yet, the object still floated, as if a rule had been set for it, requiring it to float.
Listening to Jarvis's analysis, even Sherlock couldn't help but gasp. Now he understood why Ancient One had exclaimed repeatedly upon seeing him.
A magical ability to change rules—this was a mind-blowing matter, not just for Ancient One, but for the entire dimension.
Most importantly, this magical ability was exclusive to him. Sherlock had even imagined that if others knew about this, those dimensional demon gods in the Universe would probably swarm to Earth like dogs sniffing out feces.
Although Tony currently didn't know about those things in the Universe, he still looked serious after hearing Jarvis's analysis.
He looked at Sherlock, who was standing still, and earnestly instructed him.
"Sherlock, from now on, you absolutely must not expose your identity when using this miraculous magic. The only people who know about this are you, me, and Pepper. I'll tell her!
If your ability is exposed, you could face a lot of trouble, and even cause harm to those around you, do you understand?"
Listening to Tony's instructions, Sherlock also nodded very seriously and solemnly swore that he understood and would absolutely not expose his identity.
But deep down, a thought kept surfacing: should he find time to visit Kamar-Taj and meet Sorcerer Ancient One?
