Yichen shot up to his father, his face filled with rage, before I could even stop him. "MO LIXUAN," He growled.
Yep, he's angry.
Mo Lixuan burst out laughing as if there was anything funny to laugh about. He waved his hand in dismissal.
"What the heck are you thinking, brother?" he laughed. "What I was trying to say was, I heard my cold, stoic, boring-as-sin brother had finally gotten married," Lixuan dralwed, a mocking smirk playing on his lips.
"And then I heard his long-lost love, Zhu Ri, had rushed back from the states, determined to fight for his love." He chuckled. "I had to come and see the woman who could cause so much chaos just by existing."
I gnashed my teeth. So he truly did know Zhu Ri, and he knew that she had come back to Country X for Yichen. Why didn't he stop her?
Mo Yichen calmed down and sat back down; he didn't answer Mo Lixuan. Instead, Madam Mo had reached her breaking point.
