Good advice. The warriors refocused, engaging the clones with renewed determination. But every time they seemed to gain the upper hand, the clones shifted — Shadow Step to dodge, Shadow Armor to absorb a blow, Void Strike to bypass a guard at the moment it mattered.
After two minutes of intense combat, Satou dismissed the clones.
The warriors stood, breathing hard, showing the particular fatigue of people who had been working against something that kept changing the rules. They faced the real Satou across the cleared ring.
