Kelvin adjusted immediately, his stance widening. When Urgak's next attack came, Kelvin deflected it more effectively, using the momentum to spin into a counterattack that forced the High Orc to step back.
"Better!" Urgak said with approval. "Again!"
Watching from the sidelines were several other warriors. Satou recognized Ragar, Mira, and the other Hobgoblins he'd named. Five orc warriors as well, likely part of the training rotation.
"Kelvin's gotten strong," Ragar commented. "A few weeks with Urgak has done wonders."
"He's motivated," another warrior agreed. "After what happened with Vegeta, he's been pushing harder than anyone. Says he never wants to be helpless again."
Mira nodded. "He gained a skill from the effort. Basic Weapon Mastery. And he's focused entirely on the spear. At this rate he'll surpass some of our veteran fighters."
