Chapter 5 - 5

EPISODE 5.

The group of friends lounged on the sofa, surrounded by the dimly lit room and the lazy curl of cigarette smoke. They burst out laughing as Michael glared at them, trying to maintain a calm demeanor, but his eyes betrayed his irritation.

"Bro, you need to set Zoya straight. She's not your girlfriend, after all," Dave said, his voice laced with a mixture of teasing and seriousness.

"Yeah, she's just someone you played with," Scott chimed in, his eyes sparkling with mirth. Michael took a drag of his cigarette, feeling the nicotine coursing through his veins.

"If I knew this would blow up in my face, I wouldn't have gotten involved with her. She's been a pain for three months now," he admitted, exhaling slowly. Jason chuckled.

"You expect Zoya to leave you alone after tasting your cock? She's got it bad for you, bro." Dave grinned.

"Who wouldn't want to be with the hottest guy in school, the heir to the empire?" The others nodded in agreement, and Michael couldn't help but feel a sense of pride, despite the annoyance.

As the conversation shifted to a new bet, Michael's interest piqued.

"Let's have some fun with the new girls," he suggested, trying to sound nonchalant.

 Joseph's eyes lit up.

"I have a girl in mind. We should bet on her."

 The others leaned in, intrigued.

"Our last bet on Zoya was two million. This new girl is a gem, a fragile little princess," Joseph said, a sly grin spreading across his face. Scott snapped his fingers.

"The girl we met yesterday? Diana, right? She's adorable." Something about the mention of Diana's name caught Michael off guard. He felt a strange sensation, a pang of... he didn't know what.

He pushed the feeling aside, attributing it to mere curiosity.

"So, what's the bet?" Michael asked, trying to sound uninterested.

Joseph outlined the rules: five million dollars, with two million going to the person who could make Diana fall in love or become their girlfriend, and all five million going to the person who could sleep with her and record it.

In class, Michael's eyes drifted towards Diana as she scribbled notes on her pad. The professor's booming voice filled the room, explaining the intricacies of the alimentary canal with fervor.

When the professor turned to Michael, a question poised on his lips, Michael met his gaze with ease.

"The small intestine is responsible for most of our nutrient absorption, with specialized enzymes and structures that increase the surface area for absorption," Michael responded without hesitation.

The professor's eyes widened in surprise. "That'"That's surprising, Michael. You never showed interest in my class before," he said. Michael scoffed, rolling his eyes, but his gaze drifted back to Diana. She was staring at him, a look of surprise on her face. Michael held her gaze, his expression neutral, but his mind whirled with thoughts.

As he sat down, his eyes never left Diana's, the professor's words fading into the background.

He couldn't explain why, but he felt drawn to her, intrigued by the quiet confidence she exuded. The rest of the class passed in a blur as Michael's gaze kept drifting back to Diana.

When the bell rang, signaling the end of the period, Michael stood up, his eyes locking onto Diana's as she gathered her belongings.

He felt a sudden urge to approach her, to see if

she would react to him again.
