Chapter 364: Acceptance of Tang San
Upon hearing that Tang Xiao wanted to recall Tang Hao, Tang Lie instinctively wanted to argue, but then reconsidered. Given Tang Hao's talent and strength, no one else would be more suited to fighting against Spirit Hall. In the face of the sect's survival, his personal grudges became insignificant.
"Then we'll go with what the Sect Leader said. I, Tang Lie, won't oppose Tang Hao's matter."
After speaking, Tang Lie turned his gaze toward the Second Elder, waiting for him to make the final decision.
The Second Elder nodded. Since even Tang Lie, who hated Tang Hao the most, could temporarily set aside his grudge, what reason did he have to disagree?
"We have no objections. Sect Leader, it's up to you."
With the approval of all the elders, both Tang Xiao and Tang Yuehua couldn't hide their joy. The three siblings finally had a chance to reunite in Haotian Sect.
Even Tang San, who had been worried, felt a sense of relief. His matters were settled, Haotian's ultimate techniques were now within his reach, and with Haotian Sect as his backing, he would have the chance to take revenge on Spirit Hall in the future.
Once the elders left, Tang Xiao entered a room and brought out several books, handing them to Tang San.
"Little San, here are some introductions and techniques for Haotian Sect's ultimate skills: the Fierce Wind Hammering Technique, the Sky Strike, the Haotian Bodyguard, the Nine Haotian Techniques, and the Great Xumi Hammer. You can familiarize yourself with them using these books. Later, I'll personally teach you these skills."
Tang San, holding the books, was very excited. He couldn't help but feel grateful. Having such a high-ranking uncle was great for things like this. He didn't realize how much effort his previous life in the Tang Sect would have to put in to learn the sect's ultimate techniques.
"Thank you, Uncle. Little San will certainly study these techniques carefully."
"Good."
Tang Xiao nodded in satisfaction, then turned his attention to his sister.
"Yuehua, I'll need you to make another trip to Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. You know the situation in the Heaven Dou Empire better than anyone, and you're also familiar with the temperament of our people. I'm worried..."
Remembering how his people were straightforward and courageous but lacked the subtlety to handle such matters, Tang Xiao decisively chose his sister as the emissary for the alliance negotiations.
Tang Yuehua didn't refuse her brother's request. She nodded straightforwardly.
"Don't worry, Big Brother. I've dealt with Ning Fengzhi a few times. He is a rational man who always puts the sect's interests first. I believe he will understand the stakes."
"Good, that's perfect. Thank you for your hard work, Yuehua."
"Big Brother, no need to thank me. I'm just happy to contribute to the sect, even though I can't cultivate."
"Who says you can't cultivate? The survival of the sect these years has been thanks to your support."
Tang Xiao furrowed his brow, clearly unhappy with his sister's self-deprecation. He gave her a reproachful look.
Tang Yuehua didn't press the matter. She turned to look at Tang San.
"Little San, I'll leave you in Big Brother's care."
"Don't worry, Yuehua. Little San is also my nephew."
Hearing his uncle's assurance, Tang Yuehua nodded with relief and turned to remind Tang San.
"Little San, you stay here in Haotian Sect and learn Haotian's ultimate techniques from Big Brother. Once I finish my business, I'll come back to teach you music theory."
"Yes, Auntie. Tang San will listen to Big Brother's teachings carefully."
Tang San nodded seriously. He felt extremely grateful to this aunt, who treated him as her own.
Tang Xiao, however, showed a confused expression and asked in disbelief:
"Music theory? Why does Little San need to learn that?"
After exchanging a glance, both Tang Yuehua and Tang San decided to tell Tang Xiao everything about the Killing City and the Killing God domain. This news shocked Tang Xiao. He had no idea that his nephew was so outstanding, managing to survive in the dangerous Killing City at just sixteen and even gaining the Killing God domain.
"Little San is truly outstanding. You should know, even your father wouldn't have been able to accomplish this at your age."
"Uncle, you flatter me. There's still a long road ahead."
Both Tang Yuehua and Tang Xiao were pleased to see their nephew's humility. Given his extraordinary talent and hard work, what more could the elders ask for?
"Alright, Little San, Auntie will leave now. You should tell Big Brother everything about your past with Second Brother. It will help him send people to search for your father."
"Yes, Auntie. Please be careful on the road."
"Yuehua, aren't you going to rest for a few days before heading back?"
Hearing that his sister was planning to head back to the Heaven Dou Empire immediately, Tang Xiao felt a bit embarrassed. However, Tang Yuehua simply shook her head, not minding it.
"Big Brother, the situation is urgent. It's better to finalize the alliance with Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect as soon as possible. We can't delay."
"Ah, then I'll trouble you, Yuehua."
Tang Yuehua smiled and shook her head at her brother, not saying anything further. She set off immediately towards the Heaven Dou Empire.
After his sister left, Tang Xiao turned to Tang San.
"Little San, come with me."
"Yes, Uncle."
Tang San didn't ask further questions and followed Tang Xiao. They arrived at a valley filled with large stones.
"Little San, these ore stones are our Haotian Sect's remaining resources. We'll transport these stones back to the sect, refine them, and sell them using the channels Yuehua provides to exchange for survival materials. You see, we have some of the best blacksmiths in the world. The Haotian Hammer, when not used in battle, makes for the best blacksmithing tools."
"Ah, no wonder Father had me make a living as a blacksmith when we lived in Holy Soul Village."
Tang San suddenly understood. He had thought his father's blacksmithing skills were a result of their poverty, but now he realized it was part of the sect's tradition.
"So, Father had taken you to live in a small village in recent years? No wonder we hadn't heard from him."
"You came here for a reason. Haotian's ultimate techniques focus on maximizing one's power. To master all of them, one needs an incredibly strong physique. In addition to familiarizing yourself with the techniques in these books and studying music theory, you must also find time to transport ore stones here. No tools allowed, just rely on your own strength, to achieve body strengthening."
Tang San had no doubt about this. He had never been one to hope for shortcuts to power.
"I understand, Uncle!"
After understanding Tang Xiao's intentions, Tang San walked deeper into the valley. He noticed some of the sect members were digging ores from the stone walls, while others had already extracted large stones.
Tang San picked a large stone, roughly three meters wide and as tall as a person, and with determination, he lifted it.
"Little San, you don't need to start with such a heavy one. We can take it slow."
"No, no. I'm fine, Uncle. I can handle it. Please just show me the way. Where should I transport this ore?"
Blushing from the effort, Tang San answered his uncle, who shook his head and smiled before showing him the way to the sect's ore storage point.
The storage was about five kilometers away from the valley, and the return trip was uphill. When Tang San placed the huge stone at the storage point, he immediately sat down, panting heavily.
