Chapter 324 - Chapter 324: Ah Du's Hundred Victories

Chapter 324: Ah Du's Hundred Victories

The nine experienced veterans in front of him remained exceptionally calm, not rushing in to confront him head-on. Every time he made a move, they simply countered, clearly intending to wear him down.

After all, all nine of them had a higher soul power than Ah Du. Instead of giving him an opportunity, they preferred to slowly exhaust his soul power. It had to be said, it was remarkable how well these nine had cooperated in the City of Slaughter.

Despite their superior strength, none of them dared to underestimate Ah Du. After all, those who had previously underestimated him had become nothing more than nutrients for the Hell Slaughter Arena.

"Kid, you've done well to last this long. Now become my stepping stone, hahahaha," said the bald Soul Douluo, the leader of the nine.

He had achieved 25 consecutive victories in the Hell Slaughter Arena and had observed Ah Du's battles, so even though he was strong, he chose to join forces with the other competitors to take down Ah Du.

"Who will be the victor, we still don't know. Isn't it too early for you to celebrate your victory?" Ah Du retorted.

"Hmph, I've watched every one of your battles. You have five moves in your self-created soul skill, right? I've already figured out how to counter each one. That means, as long as we don't give you a chance, your self-created soul skills won't affect us. In the end, you'll just exhaust your soul power and fall before us."

The bald Soul Douluo's face was full of confidence, and his words were laced with the kind of derisive tone a winner would use against a loser. This only solidified Ah Du's resolve.

"Let's see if you can really take my self-created soul skill."

"Fate of the Underworld!"

As Ah Du spoke, his giant scythe began to swing like a fan, moving so fast that the onlookers could hardly catch a glimpse of its afterimage.

Though the bald Soul Douluo didn't know how powerful this move was, he thought of it as the fatal blow from the 99-time champion, the King of the Underworld. He didn't take any chances and quickly turned to his teammates.

"Be careful! This is an unfamiliar move. No matter its power, prepare yourselves for defense."

The other eight nodded in agreement, their expressions grave. Before the battle began, the bald Soul Douluo had pointed out the intricacies of Ah Du's self-created soul skill, and the previous fights had proved that his assessments were accurate. This had allowed them to avoid Ah Du's deadly attacks multiple times.

Now, their caution only increased their anxiety, and they all raised their weapons, positioning them defensively. If anything went wrong, they would immediately retreat.

However, Ah Du's sixth self-created soul skill was far from simple. In the horrified gaze of the bald Soul Douluo, a small wound suddenly appeared on his cheek, slowly oozing blood.

"When... when did this happen?"

As the bald Soul Douluo stood frozen in confusion for a few seconds, Ah Du's blade energy, like a torrential wind and rain, rained down upon the nine opponents. Just like before, none of them could detect where the attack had come from.

A rare look of panic appeared in the bald Soul Douluo's eyes. In less than a minute, he was left standing in place, covered in small wounds. What terrified him even more was that the wounds were expanding, indicating that Ah Du's blade energy was becoming stronger.

"This... this can't go on..."

"Charge in directly! We have to interrupt his technique, or we'll all die."

Those standing on the arena, facing Ah Du, were not fools. Upon hearing the bald Soul Douluo's warning, they understood the danger of the situation and steeled themselves to rush toward Ah Du, determined to fight to the death.

"You brat, don't think you can take us down with just one self-created soul skill. Die!"

The nine of them raised their weapons and threw all their strength into attacking Ah Du, clearly abandoning their previous cautious approach to go all out.

On the stands, Hu Liena's face showed deep concern, her fists clenched and trembling. She understood that whether they succeeded or failed depended entirely on this move.

Seeing the nine rush toward him, Ah Du wasn't surprised. Instead, he showed a strange smile.

"I've been waiting for you. Fate of the Underworld — King of the Underworld's Absolute Kill, Ten Thousand Scythe Slash!"

As all nine opponents entered a ten-meter radius around him, Ah Du's scythe moved even faster, and its power grew even stronger.

The bald Soul Douluo, watching Ah Du's smile, had a bad premonition rise in his heart. But with no way out, he gritted his teeth and swung his giant hammer at Ah Du.

But the next moment, he suddenly felt that he couldn't control his arms. Looking down in confusion, he saw a thin red line appear on his arms. Before he could react, his arms, along with the hammer, fell to the ground.

The bald Soul Douluo instinctively wanted to scream, but he was horrified to find that he couldn't make a sound. Slowly, his vision turned to a familiar body, but he couldn't remember where he had seen it before. The body was strange, as it didn't have a head.

"Clink."

As the sound of the body falling echoed, the bald man's perspective shifted from looking down to looking up. His eyes widened in realization.

"It... it's my own body?"

After figuring out what had happened, the bald Soul Douluo slowly closed his eyes, ending his life.

The same scene was unfolding in every corner of the arena. The remaining eight people experienced the same fate as the bald Soul Douluo.

All of this happened in the blink of an eye. The audience could only see thousands of black-gold lights flash on the arena. Moments later, the three Soul Douluos and six Soul Saints were left frozen in place, and within seconds, no one could maintain the integrity of their bodies. In full view of the audience, they shattered into pieces.

A spectator in the front row stared in terror at the sword marks that appeared on the wall in front of him, trembling all over. He felt as though he had almost followed the same fate as the fallen fighters.

The entire arena fell into a heavy silence, only broken by Hu Liena's excited fist pump.

"Yes, it's done."

After some time, the stands erupted into cheers, the applause ringing out throughout the entire Hell Slaughter Arena.

"King of the Underworld!"

"King of the Underworld!"

"King of the Underworld!"

With the battle over, dense, crimson bats reappeared above the arena. The audience, having witnessed this before after the Plague Poison King and Hell Messenger's hundred victories, had grown accustomed to it. The Plague Poison King had rushed into the Hell Road directly, while the Hell Messenger had opted to wait.
