Chapter 325 - Chapter 325: The Dark Golden Three-Headed Bat King

Chapter 325: The Dark Golden Three-Headed Bat King

"Congratulations, King of the Underworld, for achieving the Hundred Victories in the Hell Slaughter Arena."

"How about it? Would you like to stay in the City of Slaughter with the Hell Messenger and share the privileges here?"

The appearance of the King of Slaughter did not surprise Ah Du. Without a second of hesitation, he shook his head firmly.

"No, I choose to venture into the Hell Road. Please open the passage."

"You—"

A look of anger appeared on the King of Slaughter's face, mixed with a hint of helplessness, as though he had already expected this possibility.

"Think carefully. The Hell Road..."

"No need, please, Your Majesty, open the Hell Road. The King of the Underworld and I will go together."

Before the King of Slaughter could finish his words, Hu Liena suddenly jumped down from the arena and stood beside Ah Du, her gaze fixed on him.

"Hmph, since you are seeking death, don't blame me for not warning you."

A familiar vibration spread, and for the second time, the King of Slaughter opened the Hell Passage, revealing the blood-red path beneath the arena.

"Well then, farewell, King of Slaughter."

"Farewell."

Without a change in expression, the two nodded toward the King of Slaughter. After a brief exchange of glances, they jumped into the passage without hesitation.

The King of Slaughter's eyes were filled with coldness as he ignored the chaotic noise from the arena, waved his hand to close the Hell Passage, and disappeared into the Hell Slaughter Arena.

In the Slaughter Hall, the King of Slaughter returned with a gloomy expression. The Black Rose beside him cautiously asked:

"Your Majesty, why not kill the Hell Messenger and the King of the Underworld?"

"Hmph, stop with your petty thoughts. Both of them have powerful forces behind them that we cannot afford to offend. Don't speak of such things again."

"Yes, Your Majesty."

The Black Rose shuddered slightly, intimidated by the King of Slaughter's overwhelming aura.

Inside the Hell Road, Ah Du and Hu Liena landed smoothly and began to observe their surroundings.

Hu Liena felt the flow of soul power within her body and sighed:

"The energy in the Hell Road is indeed abundant. It even allows my soul power to circulate on its own."

"Of course. Every day, so many people die in this Hell Slaughter Arena. Their nine-tenths of soul power flows into this place."

"Should we just charge forward?"

Ah Du ignored Hu Liena's question and walked a few steps to pick up a small stone. He threw it towards the nearby cliff.

"Plop."

The sound of the stone hitting the water was followed by a faint black smoke rising.

"I thought it was blood, but it's actually magma, or perhaps a mixture of blood and magma," Ah Du said, his expression contemplative.

"Indeed, the air here is scorching."

Hu Liena nodded in agreement, her forehead already sweating slightly.

"It looks like we need to be careful. We must not fall into the magma below."

"Mm, let's move. Staying here won't get us anywhere."

Ah Du nodded and led the way towards a narrow path with a thin stone road resembling a suspension bridge, suspended over the magma.

Without hesitation, Hu Liena followed closely behind. To prepare for any sudden dangers, Ah Du summoned his giant scythe and gripped it tightly, while a fox tail stood in the air, protecting their surroundings.

After walking for a few kilometers, Ah Du furrowed his brows and turned his head.

"The magma is getting closer. My skin can already feel the burning."

"Could it be that there's no path ahead? Is everything submerged in magma?"

Hu Liena's speculation didn't halt their steps. No matter what, they had no choice but to press forward.

Fortunately, her guess didn't come true. The path ahead was still open, and it seemed that as long as they kept going, they would eventually find an exit.

"Ah Du, look over there. It looks like a skeleton."

"Mm, it's probably someone who tried the Hell Road before. We should be careful. The path ahead still exists, but this person died here, which means either there's something dangerous ahead, and they retreated here to wait for death, or..."

"Or what?"

Hu Liena looked at Ah Du in confusion, but before she could get an answer, he suddenly pushed her away several meters.

"What's going on?"

The little fox stood up, filled with questions, and as she was about to ask, she saw a huge three-headed dark golden bat monster appear ahead.

"Or the danger is right here."

Ah Du, with his giant scythe in hand, stared seriously at the huge bat in front of him, finishing the last part of his sentence.

Hu Liena rolled her eyes, thinking to herself, "I have eyes too."

"Let's go. It looks like this is the monster blocking our path. We won't be able to pass unless we defeat it."

"Mm, you focus on attacking, and I'll harass it from the side."

Without hesitation, Hu Liena summoned her martial soul and swiftly moved behind the bat monster, while Ah Du had no objections, raising his scythe and charging towards it.

Like in the City of Slaughter, they couldn't use soul skills in the Hell Road. Fortunately, both of them still had plenty of other methods.

"Fate of the Underworld — King of the Underworld's Flash, Earth Shaker."

A black-golden light flashed, and Ah Du's figure suddenly appeared behind the bat king. One of its three heads was instantly reduced to dust.

The bat king, seemingly frightened, quickly flew into the air.

Hu Liena saw that Ah Du had succeeded and a trace of joy appeared in her eyes.

"Success, this wasn't that hard."

Before she could finish her sentence, the joy in the little fox's eyes suddenly froze. She noticed that just as she spoke, the bat king's shattered head quietly reformed back into its original state.

"What's going on? It's cheating!"

Ah Du ignored Hu Liena's complaint and quickly thought through his options. He had always been taught by the second young master to stay calm at all times, and he never forgot that lesson.

While the two of them were thinking of a strategy, the dark golden bat king above them seemed to have been enraged by the earlier attack. It opened its huge mouth and let out a violent screech. Then, with a flap of its wings, it turned into a swarm of tiny dark golden bats and charged at them.

"Be careful, this thing is no joke."

"I know, you be careful too."

The two immediately separated and began to dodge the smaller bats while waiting for the right opportunity.

Ah Du was getting more and more irritated by the endless swarm of small bats. Glancing at the dark golden bat king, who showed no signs of descending, an idea suddenly formed in his mind. He turned his back on the bat king and began using his scythe to slash at the smaller bats around him.

Sure enough, seeing that Ah Du had left his back exposed, the dark golden bat king immediately charged towards him.

"Hu Liena, watch for the right moment."

"I know, you be careful."

Feeling the gust of wind approaching from behind, Ah Du understood that the bat king was already close. With a forceful step, he instantly disappeared from the spot, swinging his scythe towards the bat's head.

"Fate of the Underworld — King of the Underworld's Flash, Ghostly Shocking Strike."
