Long- long ago, before the world had seen the emergence and birth of modern civilisation- This world where most of it is a home to only humans, who finds reasons with science, who are ruled and served by themselves exist.
There was a time, when instead of all this, different forces walked on the Earth. Sky belonged to one, the land belonged to one, the sea to another, and even the underworld belonged to one. There were humans too, mere mortals, but they were not all.
There existed different beings on the face of the world, who walked and breathed the same, but who were far more stronger, far more superior, and far more powerful than humans. They held powers that were out of human understanding. They held powers, that made them superficial- that made them rule over the world, over humans, and every one beneath them.
But among their own, laid greed, hunger, love, hatred, everything too. They were the 'Premordials'.
The premordials held power, something through which they could bless or curse others. And humans mostly served them, tending to their wishes, likes and dislikes. Some did, to impress and powerful beings in hope of receiving something in return. And some served them, out of pure devotion, as serving them like that for long, would increase them in their human ranks, increase their mortal years.
The history says a lot about them, different stories with different names. But the stories, still remains an unsolved mystery.

Thanks for being here, as you reading this, means that you have decided to give this book a chance, which I will try my best to make it worth it.
So, you may already have the idea that this book is heavily inspired by the legendary story of Medusa.
So, before diving further into the book, I would like to highlight a few points about this book.
As the original stories and myths about Medusa all spiralled around the Greek gods, but here in this story, I would not be referring them as 'gods'. In stead, I will be referring them as supernatural beings called 'primordials'.
I know, it might affect your impression about the original legend a little. But I have my own personal thoughts, as I am not comfortable referring them as gods. 'God' is a very sacred term for me, and it is already evident that most of them used to do a lot of things which categories as huge sins. They had mortal feelings both positive and negative, like love, hatred, greed, and jealousy.
So, the premordials, are referred as the higher beings who rule on different parts of earth.
Then, as this is my imaginary story, so of course, I am going to change a lot of facts, and add a lot of my own imagination into it , which aligns with the story. And that may leave you wondering in a few places. It would be fun, honestly *snickers*
And then, we have the spotlight of the story. We are having the ROMANCE ARC in the story. There was nothing like that in the original legend, but we would have here. So, maybe with that, you would already have a tini-tiny bit of idea what should be expected here.
Now lastly, this story would revolve particularly around Medusa.
Personal reasons- growing up, I had been very fascinated with Medusa and I always thought that the legends never gave her justice. So, this is simply my version, where Medusa is a victim, then a warrior, and also someone who would deserve all the happiness in the world.
