Chapter 48:Arthur death Countdown 2
Arthur was no longer in his mind,he was killing non stop everything that was coming in his way.
Every swing of his sword split hundreds of stone plant soldiers .Every time he moved his legs formed carved craters into the earth.Every step he moved he was going one step closer to his death but there was no sign of guilt in his face, his face was smiling like he was enjoying fighting.
Now stone plant tank monster was in front of him ,he tried to attack him but Arthur easily dodged and moved backward and struck his sword in the monster body and bright yellow light came inside from his body ,from one hit Tank Monster's massive body was now in ground, its once impenetrable bark armor was reduced to dusk and green light slowly shaded and his eyes became lifeless.
The Bodybuilder Plant Monster roared in rage, charging forward with muscles of stone and vines towards Arthur . But Arthur didn't falter.
He raised his hand. A surge of mana condensed into a sphere so bright Ank had to cover his eyes. With a flick of his wrist
BOOOOOOM!
The sphere detonated, erasing the Bodybuilder's upper half in a flash of white light.
Ank's jaw dropped. His master wasn't fighting anymore he was annihilating.
He was doing a one sided massacre ,no one can stop him from killing but stone plant soldiers did not fear from arthur instead of running they started attacking with more force .
"Master you're unbelievable." His voice cracked. He wanted to cheer, to scream in victory, but instead his stomach twisted with dread.
Because in the corner of his vision, he saw it.

Four minutes and fifty two seconds.
That was all Arthur had left before his death.
Ank was feeling helpless . He wanted to rush forward, to fight beside his Arthur but he couldn't even scratch the monsters that Arthur was tearing apart like weeds.
I'm useless. Completely useless. All I can do is watch him burn his life away for me.
Once I was the emperor of the universe and now I am so weak that I cannot even help him.
He cursed the damn system for sealing his power.
Ank healing started and slowly Ank strength was recovering. He picks up his sword from the ground ready to try to help but his grip on his sword loosen and the sword falls to the ground.
His hands were shaking.In mid fight Arthur noticed Ank conditions he knew Ank was slowly falling into despair.
While Ank was thinking why my hands could not stop shaking, suddenly Arthur's voice rang out, calm but commanding, even amidst the chaos. "Ank. Do not despair. Watch closely. This is what it means to protect."
Dont be afraid . i will protect you and remember maya was waiting for us ,so we cannot fall here if we fall maya will surely cry a lot and i didnt want to see maya crying face.
In mis chaos Artur try to motivate Ank .
His words cut deep, sharper than any blade.
Ank clenched his teeth so hard they bled. Protect? How?! I can't even protect myself
But I have ,I want to see Maya again and I will not fail this time. He did not understand why he said I will not fail this time and then he heard a voice
Ank i believe in you .
A small tear drop on the ground.
The ground cracked as Arthur dashed again. With each movement, monsters fell in thousands .
Arthur was merciless. His killing aura slowly starts covering the ruined village. His sword was shining like stars above the ruined village. His sword became a nightmare for stone plant monsters.
Ank now recovered completely and then he saw his master again. Each strike, Arthur's was body trembling, the cracks spreading across his skin like glass ready to shatter. Blood dripped from Arthur's mouth, but he didn't slow.

Ank's heart pounded louder than the roars of the monsters. Every second was agony.
The Plant soldiers, once endless and overwhelming, were thinning. For the first time since the battle began,Ank also joined his master's side and he once again returned to the battlefield .
He knew thinking about the voice was useless for now .
Every kill Arthur did he became close to his death whenever Ank tried to get close to Arthur to stop him.
Arthur simply replied I will not die, Ank just focus on your fight.
Ank wished he could believe that too. But all he saw was death waiting at the end of that countdown.
He stumbled forward, shouting through the chaos once agian. "STOP! Master, stop! If you keep this up you'll !"
This time Arthur didn't look back and he ignored Ank words . His blade sang as it cleaved another monster in half. His mana surged like a tidal wave, drowning out Ank's desperate cries.

Arthur did not want to stop because he knew that something happened to maya that Ank was not telling him that involves this stone plant monster."No " Arthur whispered, his tears falling freely. "Not again. I can't lose you too ".He knew if he fell monster will surely hunt maya .
Memories of Maya flashed in his mind her smile, her laughter ,her innocence .The rage, the grief, the helplessness. And now, the same helplessness was chaining him again,
Arthur's figure was blazing now, his aura tearing holes in the ground, the mana so dense it distorted reality itself. The monsters faltered, their once fearless charge slowing in the face of pure destruction.
But then
The ground shook.
A shadow fell across the battlefield, larger than anything before. The air grew more heavy and suffocating .
From the largest portal, a colossal figure emerged the Plant Monster Boss.
Its body was a mountain of vines and stone, its eyes glowing with malevolent green fire. Every step it took crushed dozens of its own soldiers beneath its weight, and yet the stone plant monsters cheered, as if welcoming their king.
Arthur's aura flared in response. He tightened his grip on his sword, his expression grim but unyielding.
"Finally," he muttered. "The true enemy shows itself."
Ank's knew by looking at the new arrival monster aura ,Arthur will not win against him .But all he could do was support his master.
