A young man stood in front of his room's window, looking at the dark and moon-less sky. The world was enveloped in the pitch black darkness.
A slow and cold breeze bushed his face, making his long black hair wave in the air.

Sunlight filtered through the curtains hanging in front of the windows and entered in the room, falling on the crown prince's face.

On the other side of the door, a young woman in maid's clothing was standing.
"Y-Your highness, i have come to inform you, that your clothes for today's Awakening ceremony are ready." she said while looking at the floor, not daring to look at him directly in the eyes.
Leon walked towards her, and leaned his face close to hers.

Taking his mouth close to her ears, he wispered, "Anything else."
She could feel Leon's body heat from the close distance. Fearing that the infamous prince might do something to her, she took a step back.
Leon had his own special servants who served him, but today they were busy, making this young made come here.
"No-nothing else. I should be going now, your highness." she said in panicked voice and hurriedly walked away.
Watching her retreating figure, Leon tilted his head and muttered, "She is too shy, it's not like i was going to eat her."
'In the novel, when that Protagonist became the Emperor, hehehe... every maid was added in his harem. Good for them, I'm not into harem.' he laughed thinking about it.

In a large and spacious hall, many people were gathered.
Various types of food was served on the tables. Adults were standing in their groups, drinking and chatting with each other.

Emperor went towards his special seat, which was above the stairs. As soon as he sat on his massive seat, another announcement was made by the knights.
"Crown prince Leon Aegis is arriving!"
Hearing the announcement, people started murmuring, the exact opposite reaction compared to last time. But they still kept their eyes at the gate.
Soon, a handsome young man appeared. He was wearing black clothes, adorned with expensive gems.
Earrings in both of his ears, body 190cm tall, and his face was more handsome than what everyone in that hall was expecting.
"How can he be that handsome? Were the rumours wrong?" a middle aged nobleman said.
Hearing his comment, everyone else also thought the same, and decided to reassess the infamous crown prince of their empire.
Emperor, Devis Aegis, stood up from his seat and announced in a joyous voice, "Today is the happiest day for our empire. The crown prince has turned 18 years old and is going to awaken his ability."

Nobles started to congratulate him one by one. Although he was a prince, it was up to his luck to awaken or not awaken an ability.
"What ability have you awakend, Leon? See your status window and tell us." Emperor asked with anticipation.
In this world, every awakened person possessed their own status window.
